I got the chicken and rice which I feel could have been $2 less, but very tasty, especially if you mix it a little. Just a bit too much salad on the side. What I find happens in many cafes is that their espresso has a few grounds at the bottom, making the final sips bitter. That was the case here, but it would've been very decent otherwise.

This place saved me from my McDonald's cravings. I was about to buy at Mcdo but then they don't allow dine in so I walked just around the place and found this gem.
I got a meal for $10.92 (iced coffee, french fries from kids menu and Bagel with egg and cheese). What a deal! (Compared to their burger and fries only)
What a meal while dining in and looking at the streets if that's your thing. I'll be back to try their mexican foods. I would recommend it for breakfast or on the go snack.
The only downside is that its far from the downtown. I really have to walk from busy streets of Chinatown Oakland

I like this cafe a lot and eat there all the time. The owner and staff are super nice and the food is very tasty. My favorites are the coffee and their veggie sandwiches but everything else I have gotten there has been very good as well.

Came in excited to try the sandwiches but ended up being $12 for a little sandwich of white sliced bread with some toppings on it -- super overpriced and not better than one made by yourself at home. You're better off taking those $12 and buying everything for less at Alex's Market across the street.

I love this place. Before the lock down, I was there every workday contemplating my lunch from their great selection. They're open again with a more limited menu and zero seating but still serving those awesome fries and onion rings. The staff are kind and generous when you want bacon on your bagel but it's not really on the menu. Go there. Try the daily soups as well now the weather has changed.

I have to sing high praises for Mo'Joe Café! They have been amazing during this period of restaurants with limited service and clientele sheltering at home. They offer delivery and are very prompt. My orders always arrive with the Latte still hot and delicious. They pay special attention to any requests -- like no plastic utensils or the type of bagels we prefer. Their croissant breakfast sandwiches are also great!

This is a neighborhood gem. My favorite is the pesto chicken panini and to drink, a lemon mint freeze. I also love the breakfast sandwiches, smoothies and lattes. They always have a great assortment of baked goods too. I have lived in this neighborhood for over ten years and Mo Joe's has consistently delivered quality food and drinks.

This is my favorite independently owned coffee shop. The variety for coffee items, smoothies, and food is amazing. You can never go wrong with their soup when it is available, which can range from asparagus to ginger bisque. The pastries are fresh, a croissant turkey, egg and cheese sandwich is a great way to start the morning, and there are Plenty of salad and sandwich options as well!

The staff is friendly, and in Covid19 conditions, I hope to keep them as our local friends when we can once again sit in the eating area booths, random tables, or sofa chairs. I miss passing the outside seats

The salads good, burgers awesome, smoothies great! I am sure any and everyone can find something they love here! Must try it if you are in the area! It's down 14th Street across from the library.

I still love you, Mo Jos. They're there in the morning when I need a place to chat with friends. But let's face it. The service is meh. No smiles, no helpfulness, no "I will be right with you. ". I just expect a consistent cold service.

Hosted by the gracious owner who is proud of his place, Mo'Joe's on Sacramento is a jewel.

Starting with the varied seating arrangements of easy chairs, regular cafe tables for close conversations, a long table for a group, outside as well as inside seating, this cafe even has toys for children and a changing art exhibitions on the walls. You can't go wrong visiting here. The food is good -- fresh salads with toppings, generous portions, and a staff that remembers you. They walk your dish to you as soon as it is ready. The baked goods are delicious as are the beverages. Behind

Great coffee house/bistro a bit off the beaten track, but worth seeking out. Fabulous breakfast and lunch options with a myriad of interesting wraps and sandwiches. We have several amidst our party, which provided an opportunity to try a bite of each! All were delicious. Would go back in a heartbeat!

I love this place. Great coffee (Caution coffee is hot.) Nice owners, great staff. Good food. Local artists featured on the walls. What's not to like?
Could use about 20 more tables but such is the fate of anything worth having. Looks like they have a new place in Oakland. Cool. Adds another half star to my Oakland rating :)

Wow, the bread was amazing on my delicious California Sandwich. The iced tea was fresh. I'd go back in a heartbeat. Not fancy, but outstanding eats.

My partner's decaf coffee was burnt. The tables are sticky. With so much competition in the coffeehouse space you would think they would try harder. They do provide a comfortable space for many users and their electronic devices.

I love going here to get a burger and fries or sandwich. The food is high quality and tastes delicious! It's hard to stand out in such a competitive area, but Mo'Joe Cafe is still going strong for a good reason. The packed lunch crowd is proof to any who are still not sure. Everyone in my building knows this place and frequently eat here.

Service wise, this place is going downhill. Lack of eye contact or smile, or pleasantness for the matter. The woman looked annoyed at me as I was looking at the menu. There's literally no one behind me. Then when I went back up to ask someone else for a to go box, after finishing her tasks she handed me a box with her back turned to me. Look I go to restaurants not expecting "great service", but today you guys were rude as heck.

And I ordered a small coffee, and it wasn't even full.

I loved getting the chocolate chip cookie half dipped in chocolate or the marble cake! The sandwiches were full of meat too, I especially liked the roast beef sandwich. It is good whether you just want a hot drink to go or sit and eat a meal. A pleasant cafe that I could stop at on my way to college.

Best place to recharge devices. Not super impressed with the croissant sandwich- a very thin slice of ham on my sandwich- coffee was decent. I have found a good place to sit and pretty good vibes every time I have come here.

What a cute little cafe in Berkeley! You can really tell that the locals come here which makes it a really chill vibe. The cafe is a good size and there is plenty of seating. The service here is great and quick which is great if you are in a rush. The place is always kept clean and organized which is always a plus. They even have a tiny corner with books, toys, and puzzles if you decide to bring your little one here. I have had tried several of their foods here and they are pretty good. Parking here can get somewhat tricky but it isn't impossible to find. Definitely come check this place out

Great coffee! Friendly staff!

Mo'Joe has become one of my favorite cafes. Great coffee - rich, bold, and smooth. Delicious sandwiches. My favorite is the tuna melt or steak sandwich special.

Smoothies are nothing special. I wish they would add carrot juice or another veggie juice option to their smoothies.

Good space to work, but can get crowded and overheated.
