Great little neighborhood cafe with breakfast/brunch/lunch entrees, and bottomless coffee.
They have indoor and outdoor seating on a quiet side street off of Powell.
The only bummer about this place is it has been "discovered" , and is harder to get a table than it used to be, especially at brunch time. My review will probably not make that any better.

Always love having breakfast/ brunch here. Great ambiance... tasteful, yet homey and comfortable. Can accommodate singles, couples or large groups. Have eaten here solo, with my husband and have brought family and friends here and every dish was great, and every meal was memorable. The owners are often hosting and even serving some of the tables and they are extremely friendly, personable and funny. They clearly take pride in what they've built, and deservedly so. Latest great addition is the outdoor "parklet" to respond to Covid-19 that not only allows outdoor dining but also protects one from

What a find ! The best breakfast place in East bay we experienced. Large, spacious and clean with lots of places to sit. We were in a hurry and had to get the food to go. Aidan took care of our order and kindly offered some free orange 🍊 juice while we waited. Food, ambience and service was impeccable. One of these days, we will drive here with family to do a full course breakfast.

The service was my favorite part of the meal. The food was great. If you get the stuffed French toast it’s enough to share. The bananas on the stuffed French toast tasted like bananas foster, they were incredible! The omelet was delicious but needed some salt. The ingredients inside were cooked perfectly and quite tasty. Also, the orange juice is the perfect combination of sweet and sour; you can tell it’s fresh. Would absolutely eat here again.

Heaven. On. A. Plate. Get the French Toast and a side of bacon. More if you like. But oh. My. Goodness. All the flavors explained on the menu and a hint of something that puts it over the top, spoiler alert!
amaretto. It adds another layer of delight to an already amazing experience in your mouth. And the coffee… dark, rich, full of flavor. I want to go back tomorrow.

I've had the opportunity to try Doyle Street Cafe several times, both take-out and dine-in.
The staff is nice and welcoming and the service is speedy, which makes it a great place to grab a quick lunch on a busy weekday! On the other hand, the new outdoor seating arrangements makes it a nice place to hangout on the weekend.
The food is good without being particularly special. My wife is in love with the cinnamon honey butter that comes with the pancakes! The price is okay for the quality and quantity of the food.
Overall, a solid choice for a tasty weekend brunch or quick, filling weekday lunch

Great atmosphere. Very friendly staff. The wait was shorter than advertised (10 mins instead of 17). I grabbed a coffee from the coffee bar to sip while I waited. It was a great cup of joe. The pulled pork benny was absolutely as good as it sounds. The ork was juicy and tender. The eggs were poached just right and the potatoes were crispy, but not burnt. Highly recommend this place.

Love this place. The food looked and tasted delicious. Server was friendly and the food came pretty quickly. Had the stuffed French toast, breakfast potatoes, scrambled eggs, bacon, but we got there too late and they were out of the cornbread. Must be delicious too. Relaxing ambiance, perfect brunch spot. Five stars.
