Petit Cafe is absolutely a local favorite. They have an amazing variety of assorted baked goods, wonderful specialty coffees and healthy, flavorful options for breakfast or lunch. I also love the seasonal offerings as there is often something new on the menu with fresh, local ingredients. A must try!

I love this cafe. I work nearby and often stop here for my morning coffee or lunch. Their lattes are delicious and have different flavors that change seasonally. Their pastries are delicious, and their food is always made fresh (it’s delicious.) The staff is always very kind and welcoming.

This lovely cafe is a family owned business with a mission I can get behind! I love their emphasis on local ingredients and sustainability. Try the honey nut squash farro bowl or avocado toast with watermelon radishes - you can't go wrong! They also serve delectable local breads and pastries from Firebrand Artisan Breads and Grand Bakery.
I like to come for a vegetarian lunch or just grab a delicious Ritual Coffee which is sustainably roasted in San Francisco. Another plus is the cafe's commitment to reducing our carbon footprint.
The owner Sheila is warm and friendly, you can tell she cares

Couldn’t help but overhear my favorite neighborhood coffee shop talk about someone’s recent online review. Just so there’s another opinion, I have known the people who work here since they first opened and they all work hard endlessly everyday. Their craft not only involves treating their customers and employees with respect, but they even go the extra mile to change their menus on a monthly basis to satisfy all current and new customers which not a lot of coffee shops offer. Thank you Petit Cafe family for all that you do! See you soon again!

I have been coming here at LEAST once a week since this cafe first opened. I never know what to get because everything is so delicious! They change their menu seasonally but always keep the most popular items around. If you are in the area and looking for high quality coffee and healthy, yummy food you must give it a try!

They have one of the best mochas in Oakland. Dog friendly with fresh baked dog biscuits. Staff is incredibly friendly and loves my doggo whenever he comes in. Pastries are solid. Oatmeal and the breakfast wrap are good too. Strongly recommend.

Petit Cafe is my favorite in Oakland. Between The Sandman and the 10-4 coffee I do not know which one is better! The environment is warm and welcoming. I recommend to everyone that comes to Oakland to visit Petit Cafe. Everything on the menu is fantastic.

Cute corner cafe with a small seating area indoor and a vast menu of seasonal and specialty drinks along with small bites (breakfast and lunch). The staff is friendly.
The ginger snap latte is seasonal and warrants another visit very soon. When I asked more about this seasonal latte I was told that the drink was more ginger forward and that almost deterred me but I'm glad I kept it as my order because it reminds me of the cookie with isn't too sweet and perfect.
I'm only giving it 4 stars because I haven't tried more of the menu.

This a cute little place on Pill Hill with fresh sandwiches, breakfast pastries, artisan drinks, and more.

I came here on the recommendation of a security guard at one of the local hospitals. I had just finished a medical appointment and wanted something very light and non-greasy to eat. Their soup of the day was minestrone soup, which hit the spot for me. It had that made-from-scratch taste to it and there were plenty of vegetables in the soup. They have lots of artisan drinks there and next time I'm in the area I'd like to try the Blue Calm, which is a Matcha latte. The drink is actually

Beautifully crafted lattes. Not just your average neighborhood cafe but a destination. I'd go out of my way to get their wonderful selection of pastries and beverages. Gluten free pear scones, yummy persimmon muffins, biscuit breakfast sandwiches... Everything is really really good.

I had to take my daughter for a 3 day stay at the hospital. When I saw Petit Cafe's menu, I was so relieved! I had the quiche and the honey nut squash bowl, as well as croissant, coffee and hot chocolate. Everything was amazing, and made me feel like I was at home. I didn't have any of the yucky feeling from eating out for multiple days like I do other places. Thank you so much for doing what you do with care and excellence!

I came across the petit cafe' by looking for an impressive bagel that would satisfy my cravings for a lox bagel (without the lox), I was so pleased to find Petit Cafe' only 5 minutes from my new workplace. There's both indoor and sunny outdoor seating with the friendliest staff and customers. I wanted to get a hot caffeine-free drink and their cloud-Hued matcha latte did not disappoint! It was the perfect accompaniment to the bagel plate, which I thoroughly enjoyed, the heirloom tomatoes were such a nice presentation and delicious touch. I will definitely be returning for lunch.

11/15 update (4th visit):
I got a blue calm latte which was a hit as usual but then I changed it ip and ordered food which was a mistake. I got their breakfast wrap with potatoes and all I’ll say is it was very disappointing. I’ll stick to their drinks and baked goods moving forward.

I’ve been here 3x since randomly stumbling upon it. Their pistachio almond latte and blue calm latte are simply amazing. I also got to try a bite of one of their gluten free almond scones when they had free samples out and it was delicious!

When you first walk in there a qr code posted saying you can order through there. So I take a seat, place my order for here, which it did ask, and wait.... and wait... while watching people who came in after me get their food. It says to wait for your name to be called... mine never was. There was a glass filled with something peach colored so I thought that couldn't be the strawberry froze I ordered.

Finally some lady comes to my table and says oh are you Kiki? Your orders been here..... I'm like why wasn't my name called. Why am I being asked to wait for my name to be called

We were staying at the nearby Summit and were excited to find this gem nearby. Being a celiac diner, I was excited to find a lot of gluten free options to share with my (also) celiac daughter. Ordered lunch online for pickup. Ordered a GF veggie quiche (ate before taking pics), GF/vegan banana bread, GF scone, and GF peanut butter cookies. Yes, lots of baked good options but when we find freshly baked GF goods, we sample :). Charming cafe, delicious food/desserts, and great service - we loved it all!

This is a nice small friendly cafe in a hospital district which serves good breakfast burritos- with vegan sausage, yummy avocados, and tasty mango salsa with a side of new potatoes I think it's like around $11. Very good, plus people are always walking their dogs into the cafe plus the pastries such as the brownies are delicious- and the chia pudding is yummy.

I visited this cute little cafe due to the fact that my new dentist is across the street and I had some time to kill and they were offering a 15% check-in offer.

They have plenty of outdoor tables, however inside is more of a counter space with room for their kitchen. I did see plenty of people with laptops up on the counter.

Their menu has a little something for everyone. We opted for a breakfast wrap, green smoothie and coffees including a lavender honey latte. Zero complaints! Everything was good. The wrap with potatoes was simple and light, with well cooked and spiced potatoes. I loved

Decided to randomly check out this gem while grabbing a bite with my family across the street. This spot is awesome! I ordered a Hot Chai Latte and the blend was amazing. My wife originally ordered a regular latte and right before the Barista finished her drink, my wife decided to switch her coffee to a Rose cardamom latte. Very indecisive. Needless to say, The barista was extremely courteous in accommodating my wife's order, and was also excited for my wife's decision. Her latte was amazing. During our exchange, the barista noticed our 4 year old daughter behind the counter and surprised

Petit is the little cafe that stands shoulder to shoulder with the grands. We came in for a quick lunch and loved the French-style classic grilled cheese sandwich, which came with a side of micro greens. The single espresso was perfectly prepared and presented. Its taste was not fully to my liking, but that's almost certainly the fault of the beans--while everyone around town seems to love Red Bay coffee, somehow I never have.

The staff were friendly and charming. They checked our vaccine QR codes with a smile. This was definitely a five-star experience. We plan to return for breakfast
