Amador is in a garden setting just across the street from the Jackson Avenue Shopping Plaza. Our units offer all new appliances, new cabinets and counter tops, new ceramic tiled floors, mirrored closet doors, plush carpet, dual pane windows, and several floorplans to choose from. All units are high speed internet and cable ready.
We are within a three minute walk from the main post office and Birchfield Park, as well as, a ten minute walk from the Hayward DMV. Other amenities include a large sparkling pool, fitness center, laundry facility with an all-new machines and a Bar-B-Que/Picnic area. Location and ambiance is what sets us apart from all other apartment homes.

If you are able to over look the cockroaches and bed bugs there are still many reasons why moving in to Amador Apartments should be a last resort. Most residents at Amador Apartments have been living at Amador Apartments for a while, therefore aren't welcoming to new residents. Maintenance workers take months to fix minor inconveniences. The management at Amador Apartments is unprofessional when it comes to addressing residents concerns.

Lived here for 3 years and still current. Always been a good tenant. They are not trustworthy and try to scam you out of your money/ find a way to force you to move out so they can charge someone the current market rate. They claimed to have got broken into and claimed some tenants rent was stolen, mine were one and they still want me to pay them a full months rent or threatened to evict me even though I have my receipt and the bank cant cancel cashier checks until after 90 days. Currently taking legal actions.

I lived at Amador for about 3 years. I moved there because of my job location which was in Union City but I had to move because my husband got a better job in the South Bay where we are from. If I could of stayed living there I would have. I realled like the apartments there and the floorplan. From all the apartments I seen in the area while apartment searching Amador seemed to be a lot more up to date and cleaner. I never had any issues with office staff. They were always there when needed and never had any problems with them.

I have been living here since September 2011. First off, there is NO air conditioning so ALL-YEAR-AROUND, the apartments are stuffy and hot. Secondly, there is this thing where the water spout usually is on a building- this has been a nest of hundreds of WASPS that have found ways to get inside the house. If you want to have guests over, you will find yourself having to park at the Jackson Plaza across the street because there is ABSOLUTELY NO guest parking (except on the street) The GREAT thing about these apartments is the LOCATION.. There are mostly Hispanics that live here and a few blacks

I was here from August 2011 - August 2012. The living experience wasn't so bad. The neighbors were, for the most part, nice. But the management was deceitful and dirty. I have rented numerous apartments within the span of my lifetime, and I have always maintained them and cleaned them well enough to receive the entirety of my deposit back. These people, on the other hand, are trying to pull fast ones. Charging you insane amounts for "cleaning," but being unable to provide itemized lists of everything that needed to be cleaned or replaced. They charge you an "advanced water

I helped a friend move into this place. The apartment manager (Ray Tostada) alone is enough to make me want to move here (if I needed to move; then again, I don't know if I'd move to Hayward ...)! He was so helpful, accomodating, and available any time of the day! This guy has GREAT customer service/hospitality skills. This place has been renovated so this is definitely the best place on Amador Street south of Winton. Minus star for the parking because people will tend to park in your spots. But, plus for expeditious tow trucks who will tow the sucker outta there. :)
