So I moved to the area from just outside Chicago about 6 months ago. Had a great local place I knew and trusted and was concerned about finding something similar here. I’ve got 5 vehicles (4 Hondas and a Kia) all with well over 150k miles. I checked out some local reviews and Rix kept popping up. Gave the m a try and my search is over. Super professional shop. I’ve had Rick inspect and do large maintenance on our 2010 Honda Odyssey since we purchased it last year. Always professional, he uses oem parts and proper torque specs and truly cares about providing the best! RIX is top notch. We have had Hondas for several years and started taking them to RIX after our old garage misdiagnosed a problem for months. Rick was able to identify the problem immediately and provided us with a timely repair! His service is excellent, unlike any other place out there. And his billing is fair, transparent, and payment is online as extremely easy. I would recommend him to anyone who will listen!

Very impressed with Rick and the service he and his team performed on my wife’s Honda Pilot. It was due for its 105K mile service and Rick was very thorough with explaining all that would entail, was super accommodating with the scheduling and the actual service. And beat the local manufacturers service department pricing, as well!! All in all, I highly recommend Rix Automotive.

Highly recommend servicing your car at Rix. They were professional and quick in relaying all of the issues we had on our Honda Pilot and got the car up and running in same day of diagnosing. The inspection report they give is very thorough, easy to know what needs immediate servicing. Definitely coming back, thank you to rick and everyone there!

To say RIX is top notch is an understatement. The owner, and employees are friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. I think it’s extremely cool you will see anything from a Honda odyssey getting routine maintenance, a race car getting engine upgrades, to a Toyota land cruiser getting a suspension lift. Great people, great shop 100% recommend.

Due to time constraints, I brought in my 2004 Honda Civic with a leaking cam seal and blown head gasket. RIX made it very easy to work around my busy schedule, as they have a secure drop box for your keys and leaving your vehicle.

Rick took vehicle service to a level I never knew existed. Not only was his quote for service lower than the normal shop I used to use and dealership... but then when it came time for the service, he actually said he didn't think one of the recommended services was needed and provided evidence as to why I should wait for that service.
Furthermore, he sent me details photos of his entire vehicle inspection.
The entire shop was done contact free (if that is important to you in COVID world). I dropped of my car the night before and used a drop box, got my service quote and approved work
