Sherri Martin, MMS, PA-C has been with the practice since July of 2015. Sherri earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Michigan where she graduated with University Honors.

On January 14, I had a procedure to address a pre-cancerous mole. On January 29 I went back to have the stiches removed and asked about the lab results. I was told I would be called later that day with the results. Not only did they miss removing a stitch (which was later addressed by my wife who noticed the issue), I was never called with the lab results. I have since called on February 4, February 11 and February 19 asking for the test results which to date I have not received. All they ever do is apologize and say they will call later with the results. As it is now five plus weeks since

I had called to schedule an appointment, prior to which I found that they were within my network. I called and they immediately answered, and she put me on hold momentarily and asked me the standard new patient questions. At the end she asked me who my insurance coverage was under, I told her, then she said we aren't accepting that insurance. I told her that I am looking at my provider network right now and you are listed. She said "we aren't accepting that insurance - right now". Thanks a lot for the wasted time.

I was extremely disappointed in this office. At the initial appointment Dr. Zirwas literally asked me three questions. He did not review any medical history. I had to ask him if he wanted to know why I had been referred. Promised that the patch testing would be personalized and it was not. He never sent a report to the referring doctor. His office did however try to sell me cosmetic services and products. Extremely disappointed.

Dr. Fichtel and staff are amazing! The place is super clean and spa-like, I felt very comfortable there. If you are thinking of cosmetics i.e. Fillers or Botox then I would highly recommend coming here. I've worked in dermatology before so I had a lot of knowledge and standards prior to my office visit, I was very pleased and would definitely go back!

If you need a dermatologist, who is cool, but also ACTUALLY listens to your concerns, Dr. Zirwas is the one to go to. I will be forever indebted to him for discovering that my eczema is related to a dietary nickel allergy (not contact nickel allergy), and have been a faithful patient since. I also appreciate the fact that Dr. Zirwas will not recommend steroids as the first line of defense, and is open to diet modifications and supplements before pumping you full of steroids (which is sometimes, unfortunately, the only thing that will help with flare ups).
