Your eye care provider will take your lifestyle and vision correction needs into consideration when helping you select the right lenses for your eyes.
In addition to assessing your visual acuity, your eye care provider will test for common eye diseases, assess how your eyes are functioning together, and more. Serious health issues like diabetes and high blood pressure are often first detected during an eye exam. The American Optometric Association (AOA) recommends children have their eyes examined at 6 months old, three years old, at the start of school, and every two years until age 18.
Vision develops rapidly starting at birth and is tied to many developmental milestones, such as hand-eye coordination and reading. In the long term, your child's vision will impact how they learn, play, and interact with the world. While there may be some obvious signs of visual disorders, many vision problems can only be detected by a qualified eye doctor during a comprehensive eye exam.

What a great experience! I was cheerfully greeted by Amber, who made me feel very comfortable as a new patient. The feeling continued when I met Dr. Barnes. She spent time getting to know a little about me as a person, not just discussing my vision! It is a very relaxed atmosphere and I appreciate that. I'll definitely spread the word about this office - sorry it took me so long to find her!

As soon as I got to the building one of the technicians met me at the locked door which I found odd at first, but when she came out to take my temperature before I walked in the building I was really impressed about this. Then before I touched anything I was directed to was my hands I loved it. I didn’t think it could get better but it did ALL the technicians were totally helpful and patient. I have never had my blood pressure taken while getting glasses. Then Dr.Barnes came in and gave me my exam and went over all my results and explained everything. If your looking for somewhere to get glasses

I had an appointment last week and the service wasn't the best due to one of the receptionists. I spoke with Lisa, another staff member and she handled it appropriately. Lisa is very kind, caring, and helpful. Dr. Barnes also called me two days later. Dr. Barnes listened emphatically, demonstrated professionalism and genuine care about my experience. I believe that she did provide a sincere apology and I am grateful for that. I am wish the company well, thank you for your service.

The entire staff at Dr. Barnes' office were all really nice and helpful. My appointment was set up by Adrianna and she answered all my questions and was very professional. When my appointment came, Sandra checked me in and she was very nice and sweet. Lisa helped with my glasses and contact fitting and I appreciated that she was very patient with me when picking frames. Dr. Barnes is awesome and she explained everything during my eye exam and answered all my questions. I appreciated that her office sanitized all the equipment which made me feel safe during my time there. Overall, everyone in the
