Services
All velofix mechanics are required to complete a certification course that ensures they are experts in their field and qualified to fix and service all types of bikes. All bike service packages can be viewed on our website. At the time of your service, your mechanic will go over all associated costs for any bikes, parts and service necessary before they begin the work.

I had the pleasure of working with Brad today--super happy with how things turned out. He swapped out my two front chainrings and rear cassette, added a new chain, and replaced my pedals. He did a great job and is very knowledgeable and easy to talk with. Since I work remote, having velofix come to me saved me a lot of time. Will definitely use them again.

Second year of tune-ups with Velofix, this time for the whole household. Merlyn did great work, was on time and friendly, and gave good advice about the bikes' conditions (they were all hand-me-downs I was hoping to get roadworthy.) Pricing is comparable to/a little less than a bike shop, and you can't beat the convenience. Highly recommended.

Loved my experience! I should have tried mobile bike shop earlier! I made an appointment the night before for a next day appointment directly on their website. Chad contacted me in the morning before heading to my house to make sure he has everything my bike needed. Chad arrived early and was able to repair and tune up my bike very quickly! Pricing was very honest and reasonable; it was cheaper than a physical bike shop (since they passed on the saving from not having a physical stores... I'm guessing). I needed some help with a balky front derailleur as I'm visiting town and don't have any of my tools. I was able to schedule a next-day appointment with Velofix. This was my first time using Velofix and I will definitely be a repeat customer. Merlyn came to my place, arrived early, and did a fantastic job. I wanted to convert my bike from a drop bar 2x10 to a flat bar 1x11 - basically from a gravel bike to a city-cruiser "dad" bike with a child seat on the back. I needed a brake cut, brake bleed, and indexing set up on the rear derailleur. Merlyn diligently worked on the bike and within the prescribed time, did a great job. Remarkable service. In the middle of a pandemic they responded within 5 mins, arrived the next day, and sent the Yoda of bike mechanics (Chad) who assembled a new boxed full suspension MTB, tuned up my hard tail MTB, and replaced the tires on my road bike all in less than 2 hours. Merlyn is the man - he went above and beyond to make sure my bike was tuned into tip top shape. I think my bike is running better than it ever has even when it was new! Merlyn paid a lot of attention to detail and didn't rush anything, and I'm so happy with how it turned out. I'll definitely be a repeat customer.

Go elsewhere. Too many problems, poor service, and unreliable scheduling.
I have used these guys about 6 times, and only 2 of those times has it gone well, and it's because they had one really good guy (Jeff) who has since quit. My first experience was so good, and he did such a good job it was nothing but downhill from there.
Do yourself a favor and find another place to get a bike worked on. You will be happier.
The bad first started when a guy came to do a tuneup on my bike, supposed to be they pull up in front of your house, this guy parked a block away. When I mentioned this firmly

Great customer service and great solution lately for not having to go to a business in person to get much needed service on my bikes. My family has been riding a lot more this summer thanks to "social distancing" and this has been an invaluable solution. I've had three bikes worked on by them and all have been top notch service (one tune, two tune/assemblies). I love the flexibility to just set a time and they come to the house and take care of the rest without any unnecessary interaction. This was my first experience using Velofix and I am so happy to recommend them. My bike shop closed at the end of 2019. There are other shops, but with COVID-19 getting an appointment to build up my new steed would have been challenging. So, after getting a recommendation from Phil Gaimon (Worst Retirement Ever), I thought I would give it a try.
Merlyn Townley was my mechanic, and he is a licensed Cat. 1. He was easy to work with and pro all the way. My build was more challenging, but he was up to it.

Merlyn is the man! I just bought a used bike that was riding rough and needed a bunch of work. Merlyn showed up on time at my building and was happy to let me hang nearby and explain everything he was doing so I could learn about my bike. I almost want my bike to have more issues just so I can learn more about bikes from him. He has an incredible passion for bikes and made me feel like he really cared about the experience I was going to have riding. Best of all, the price ended up being significantly less than I was expecting given how much work was needed.

I can't believe they come to your home. Also during the corona virus this was huge! I have an ebike and wasn't turned away like I was at other bike fix it shops.

Merlyn came through with a tune up with a one day notice during our coronavirus social distancing phase. I was looking for ways to stay active since my gym and the fitness center in my building are both closedown, and I remembered I have a neglected bike that is waiting to be used. I called Velofix on Friday and secured an appointment for the very next day. I am officially mobile, although my cycling skills are rusty, and I am ready to explore. Thank you Velofix! I am so happy to write this review about my wonderful experience with doing business with Velofix. I have had three positive encounters with Velofix representative's Chris, CEO and Jeff, Master Technician, together they make an awesome team. Two months ago, I purchased a RadPower electric bike; I contacted Velofix to assemble my electric bike, for awareness Velofix is endorsed by RadPower, as their official technicians in servicing their bikes. The definition of outstanding service.
I ordered the upgraded maintenance (129 dollars) on my bike. The rep came right on time.
After a check, he advised me that I only really needed the regular maintenance 89 bucks. What outstanding integrity.
Then, my bike turned out to be messed up. Chain was in backwards and link damaged. I had to leave, so the rep offered to come back when I got home from work at 730pm. Again, he was right on time.
After all that work, he was still going to honor his suggestion if 89 bucks. I insisted on giving him more, for the great work.
