MMRB gathers discarded bicycles, repairs them, and gives them away. MMRB also offers repair services with a labor charge of $24 per hour plus parts, and sells a variety of used parts and accessories, as well as used bicycles. MMRB volunteers go to community recycling events and gather the reusable bicycles brought in.

People who have a bicycle they no longer need can contact MMRB directly. A small donation is welcomed to offset disposal expenses for worn tires and other non-recyclable parts. We suspend bicycle donations during the winter months due to lack of space. We currently need high quality mountain or hybrid bicycles to fit riders 5'10 and taller, and lightweight hybrid bicycles to fit petite women.
Services
We are currently restricting bicycle donations due to lack of space. We are currently only accepting high quality adult bicycles. Specifically, we need mountain and hybrid styles to fit riders 5'10" and taller, and we also need lightweight hybrid bicycles to fit petite women between 4'10" and 5'2".
Our schedule is located on the calendar of this web site. I have 2 bikes that I wish to give to you: a 26" Schwinn Collegiate 5-speed mens bike (old school bike), and a 26" Huffy Glacier 10-speed (women's frame). Are you open this Saturday? Our store is not open on Saturdays. The recent article in the Star Tribune was in error on that point.

Mr.Michaels shop is a true gem and a great resource for the vintage bike community. Tons of parts, always helpful and prices are more than fair.

I love this shop and it’s owners. What a wonderful concept! I brought my bike in for its tune-ups. I had the pleasure of working with Mr Michael as well. Mister Michael aims to please his customers and literally anyone he meets. Thank you for your great service.

Garage sale feel or not this place is awesome! Odds are they have what you need at a fair price plus the community service they provide is outstanding and has been for the last thirteen years...if folks want a retail / corp experience for their biking needs head over to Eric's.

Didn't have the best experience honestly, very disorganized and it genuinely felt more like a garage sale than a business.

I had a bike to fix up fir my kiddos birthday. These guys were great to take a look and fix on the spot. They were patient with my questions and showed me how to adjust the seat and handle. I'm very impressed and would suggest using them for your bike needs or if you have bikes to donate or get rid of.

I had my back tire with de-railer stolen and they were able to find a used tire and used parts to get me riding again. They are amazing, friendly and generous people and I have a blast visiting their volunteer-run shop.

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME
This bicycle shop saves a ton of money for parents looking for an affordable bike for their child.
I went to a name brand shop and non name brand shop. The least expensive bike they each had was $300 and $150 respectively.
Mr. Michael Recycles Bicycles had a BMX bike that was like new, he put in two NEW tires, fixed up the brakes all for $40.
I cannot thank this store and its very helpful and hardworking staff. THANK YOU.
Anybody who’s looking for bikes or routine maintenance done, please patronize this shop.

What an awesome organization! I called to see about getting a bike for my little brother (through big brothers big sister) and they straight up gave this gem. It’s in great condition and he’s so excited. They brought him (and me) so much happiness. Can’t thank you enough! So awesome!

I try to stop in once a month. I need parts cause I almost always have a bike project going one and they have PARTS! Don't always find what I need, but sometimes bring home stuff I don't need...haha.
Two of the nicest people you'll meet. Love the place!
