Services
At The Bicycle Chain, we're passionate about bicycles. We believe that bikes offer a simple solution to many of our communities' complex problems. Bikes are great for your personal health and for the health of our environment. Bikes can help you save money on transportation, and bikes can provide you with endless miles of fun with your family and friends.
Bikes: SW Roubaix, Custom A-train steel road, Diverge for commuting, Fatboy, Surly Big Dummy. I have more bikes too. Do I have a problem? Full time manager and service. Robbie has been with us for four years and has quite a few bikes. He currently rides a singlespeed Cinelli, a 2007 custom Specialized Stumpjumper HT, and a 2016 Specialized Roubaix with Shimano Di2.
It's cool to go fast, but it's only fun if you're comfortable. Sadly, speed and comfort rarely come together, but the Turbo Como 3.0 650b with a low-entry design is out to change that. With a comfortable geometry that makes getting on and off the bike and putting a foot down super easy, a sleek and stylish design, and our exclusive, award-winning technology, you'll get an extra jolt of power that'll make riding just as fun as it is functional.
What if we used every ounce of experience we've gained serving riders over the past 46 years and built a bike made simply for the love of riding? The Aethos is designed to straddle the line between perfect ride quality, extreme lightweight, and undeniable style. The Aethos Comp model is no exception.
The all-new Chisel has been purpose-built to tackle modern cross country trails and race courses with the utmost speed. In fact, it shares many of the same modern features as its Epic Hardtail sibling, but in a more budget-friendly package, making it the most efficient and capable alloy hardtail out there.

I just brought my Specialized Tarmac race bike in here on the recommendation of a fellow racer. We tend to be neurotic about who fixes our bikes.

I was in massive need for a tune up, cleaning, adjustments of lots of things and left the bike in their hands for a week. When I picked the bike up it was as good as new - everything I needed done was completed and they went over all the things they did in gory detail. It was exactly what I needed to hear to have piece of mind.

Maybe this is overkill for most people, but I think it is good to know for people like myself but also for people with

My wife and I stopped at Bicycle Chain last week and purchased (2) Specialized e-bikes. Sales personnel Wyatt and Robbie were outstanding! These gentlemen took considerable time and care to see that we selected the correct model and size of Specialized e-bike for our intended use. Most importantly, the way that they treated us throughout the entire sales process showed how much they valued our business. Prior to visiting Bicycle Chain we shopped for e-bikes at one of the big box stores in the Twin Cities and walked away feeling discouraged and disgusted. We are so delighted that we have made our

Wish I could say great customer service but sadly can't. Walked in with a budget of about 8 thousand dollars for new mountain bike but got kicked out of the store before even walking in the doors by very young 17 or so "manager". Kinda a big sale to lose.

These guys took great care of my bike and brought it back to life. Quite possibly even better than ever before. They told me it would take a week and they called me in a couple of days letting me know my bike was ready. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend Bicycle Chain to anyone looking to buy a bike. The customer service provided by Bicycle Chain is outstanding. The staff are friendly and knowledgable and take the time to explain options. My husband and I recently bought Specialized electric bikes from Bicycle Chain and love them. I recently unintentionally damaged my bike, and Dave at Bicycle Chain went WAY out of his way to help me fix it. His help saved me a lot of money. Bicycle Chain truly earned this 5-star review!

Stopped in here today just to get some info on buying a bike for a senior relative. The associate was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, & friendly. I also appreciated that he didn't try to pressure us into a sale and was just happy to give us the guidance we were looking for.

Took my (older) bike out after quite a few years of no use. Needed work on the shifting mechanism. First took it to one branch of large bike seller (closer to our house) where I was told there were none of the parts it needed and that they couldn't work on it until November. Took it then to Bicycle Chain where I bought it. They fixed in on the spot (no parts needed!) and then did a full inspection, fixing something else and had it done the same day- with a bill at least half of what I expected. I'll never go anywhere else for bike sales or service again. Highly recommended.

OPEN during the CV-19 Segue! They limit the amount of patrons in the shop for safety. So VERY glad I brought my beloved bike here to be repaired (for a broken rear spoke). Initially, they warned me that it might take up to two weeks for the repair (due to the amount of bike repairs that they had lined up). Imagine my happy surprise when I got a call a few days later that it was ready! I'm also impressed with their knowledgeable & friendly staff. I did call other bike shops but their quotes were even higher than The Bicycle Chain.

Service is king at The Bicycle Chain!

I was turned on to Dave and Bicycle Chain by a respected colleague here in Saint Cloud. While there are a few local shops here and one that I historically would bring my business, none of them are a Specialized dealer (except Eric's but I avoid that place like the plague). I know that referral business is important to small independent shops so I gave it a go.
There was a delay from Specialized on the bike I chose, but I was kept fully informed on the status and they had it assembled and ready promptly after it's arrival. Fantastic customer service both in and out of the store, they've gained

Accessible Specialized!

If you just go to other big Specialized shops in town, you'd think the least expensive specialized bike is $900. Bike Chain on Lexington offers much more of Specialized's entry level equipment line which is more appropriate for about 80% of bikers out there. For instance, there are helmets that start at $40, not $80 or road bikes for $500. Sure, they're different models, but they're basically the good tech from 3 years ago, or top of the line from 5, so are still very good.

Service is excellent and attentive. Bike mechanics are not judgmental

This small, privately owned bike shop has all the gear and knowledge you could ever want.

The staff is great and worked hard to get me a replacement part for my Thule bike rack so I could use the rack this weekend. When the part didn't come in (actually Thule sent the wrong part), Dave made sure I was able to get the part by taking one from his stock of racks! That meant he wouldn't be able to sell the rack until the replacement part came in...this is great customer service!

Thanks for your accommodations Bicycle Chain!!!

Crap selection of new bikes but good servicing with amazingly quick turn around.

Their new gear selection is below sub par. They seem to have to order everything and that includes basic items such as skewers.

I almost wish I did not have to suggest them but their shop is fast. Ridiculously fast even. I have no idea what happens in their basement or how they do it, but if you need something fixed ASAP these are the people to bring your bike to. Every fix they have done has required a few minor touch ups, but fixing a frame overnight is a miracle unto itself.

I feel really bad not suggesting them
