Freedom Federal Credit Union Credit Card holders are being issued brand new Visa Credit Cards with a brand new look and feature Contactless tap and go technology. Contactless payments are easy. Cardholders simply tap their contactless card on the contactless enabled checkout. They are also fast and convenient to use in places where customers need to pay on the go.
If your account meets the criteria described below, you will earn 3.00% Annual Percentage Yield (APY) on balances up to $10,000 and 0.25% APY on balances of $10,000.01 and higher. Balances that do not meet the account requirements for a given month will earn 0.05% APY. No minimum balance requirements.

Absolutely horrid customer service, banked with for 8+ years, never missed any payments on multiple loans, they mistakenly closed out a credit card that I was attached to that is used for my fathers cancer treatments and will not re open.
Me and my Father had a joined checking out there for a car loan from 2013/2014 ish that was paid off, the account had a few dollars left in it so called to close ONLY the checking account in which they closed ALL of the accounts including his credit card which has absolutely nothing to do with me.
They won’t solve the issue, told him to re apply for another

This bank must really be flush. I've been a member here for years and have used them to buy several cars. I found myself in a unique position as my in-laws are gifting their daughter and I cash to buy a new house. Mind you, it's close to 75% of the purchase price as a down-payment. Freedom wants me to put ANOTHER 5% of my own money down. I don't get this. I'm going to close my accounts with these people. No sense doing business with a credit union if, when you need to make a loan, it's useless.

I was approved for a loan but had a couple stipulations. I jumped thru hurdles and wasted my time for 2 days to get everything in order just to be told one of the stipulations wasn't good enough. I have perfect payment history and even paid off a loan in the past thru this bank. I will never bank with freedom again.

All customer service has been fine. It’s just EVERYTHING ELSE. Attempting to consolidate my credits cards onto one 0% interest for 15 months card, my funds didn’t transfer for 2 months after opening the card. Now I just have around 13 months to pay off debt. When using their app I didn’t see any of my payments transactions toward the card so I called and waited nearly an hour (even though there are no callers ahead of me) just to hear that they couldn’t see my payments and they didn’t know what was wrong. Went to a branch location I wanted to make a complaint about about the phone customer
