We work with those who are serious about their health and want to keep moving, but hate going to overcrowded Pilates studios and gyms. Our studio is located in a beautiful loft space in one of the historical buildings on Main Street in the City of Fairfax. We provide private, semi-private, and small group classes in an intimate space.
Freda is the owner and Senior Instructor of Esenyl's Pilates, LLC. Many people are curious about how she became interested in Pilates and wellness. The truth is, she was like many of you today. She struggled with finding balance in her life and in her body. The end result was weight gain, low energy and a health challenge that caused her to experience intense pain within her body.
Pilates, formerly known as Contrology, is a form of exercise that was developed in Germany by Joseph Pilates during the 20th century. It is a total body workout that is performed on either a mat on the floor, or on various pieces of Pilates equipment. If practiced on a regular basis, Pilates may improve physical strength, flexibility, endurance and breathing.
This package is a requirement for those who are just starting their Pilates practice. During these sessions, the client works one-on-one with an instructor who will assess the client's abilities and design a program that best suits their individual needs. These sessions are ideal for those who are new to Pilates, and for those who have injuries, physical challenges or health issues.
Now I'm much more positive and healthy, starting from the inside out. I have less neck/shoulder pain with a greater awareness to core strength and better posture. For someone interested in coming to Esenyl's Pilates, I would tell them that the instructors are highly dedicated to promoting healthy living by way of Pilates.
