I was on my way to my appointment when I was called by the office telling me I was late. It was 11:15 am and my appointment was not until 11:30. The office worker screamed at me and was very rude. Then I was told I was too late for my appointment because they were all going for lunch and I would have to come another time. I cancelled and found a new doctor.

Dr. Gerber and his administrative staff were so impressive, competent and knowledgeable when treating my medical issue.
Dr. Gerber took the time to really listen and understand my ailment and knew exactly how to begin to solve the problem.
I could not be more happy with his professionalism. He is a great asset in today’s medical practices.
My foot is now healing due to his expertise and I look forward to walking several miles a day soon.
His practice deserves 10 stars.

Family, I honestly thought my toe was broke.I got a second opinion today from Dr Gerber,800 Austin st. Evanston. He didn't look at the exrays the first doctor took, nor the notes that were taken. He looked directly at my feet and diagnosed the callous issue. He cut away and no longer do I have the toe issue I've been dealing with for over 4 months. Now I can keep all my shoes!! Lol. I haven't been able to stand on this foot like this in over 4 months and many useless doctor visits. Thank you God, I'm walking normal again. Family, stop putting everything on aging and get a second opinion. Many of

Dr. Gerber is the finest podiatrist I have ever known.
My toe nail had to be removed and he saw me the same day; before I was an established patient.
I know that I am lucky to have found him.
It is a privilege to be his patient.

I didn't get even a look at my foot for the matter I explained to him.
In fact I knew more about the matter than he did. He knew just to charge me the co-pay after walking up and down the hallway, just because I insisted.
His work resumed to doing nothing, as long as "I don't have pain".

I was having excruciating pain on the ball of my left foot and I found Dr. Gerber online and went to see him. He is conveniently located in the St. Francis Hospital Professional Building (800 Austin Street, West Tower Suite #508) in Evanston and there is free parking. I had seen several other doctors for the same problem in the past and nothing worked so I was kind of skeptical. He was able to get me right in and I only had to wait 10 minutes or less to see him. He was very thorough and incredibly knowledgeable. He took several x-rays to make sure he could see the area of my foot in question perfectly
