Lakeland Manor has been in business forty two years. We are dedicated to excellent service and amazing meals. It all began in 1976 when James and the late Sandra Nahra established Lakeland Manor. Throughout the years the team at Lakeland Manor has gained knowledge and skills that will make your event flawless.
I planned my wedding reception at Lakeland manor, and I'm glad I did. Nicole, and Shawn are a miracle from god. My coordinator and decorator flaked on me two weeks before my wedding! What do you do when that happens? When I contacted Nicole and told her what happened she told me she's got it.
She not only put together what she knew, and what the coordinator sent her, but she sat down with me and made sure I felt 100% assured every detail of my wedding was met.Her right hand Shawn was right along side her making sure he had everything correct, and that he knew our every detail.

A large share of our business is from WEDDINGS of all sizes and types (Catholic, Non Denominational, Indian, Jewish & Evangelical). I attended a luncheon after my nephew's funeral mass. Kenny was such a kind, helpful and attentive person. He introduced the young cook so he could take credit as we were all raving about the food -- taste, temperature, quantity and appearance were above the 5 stars. Nicely decorated venue, very clean and servers were great. I highly recommend Lakeland Manor for your next event.

The staff was so helpful leading up to the event. Dominique was always understanding and accommodating during the planning process. On the day of the event, everything was smooth. The food was delicious and the event staff was very professional and personable. They made the entire process very easy and enjoyable. I will definitely be back.

The Hall was very clean. Super cute and decorated nicely. Their food was phenomenal, it was very tasteful, flavorful & the temperature was perfect! Considering currently in this day and how business are very short handed, staff is working more then usual, and very over worked, they never lacked in their service, or promise as stated. The staff was top notch always checking with everyone to make sure everything was good and if anyone needed anything. The minute anything was empty they were gathering it from the table. My experience at Lakeland Manor was absolutely superb. The staff was so attentive to my every need and everyone else’s needs. The bathrooms were spotless as was the room setup. Teddy and Kenny were incredible and could not have been nicer and could not have been any more professional. This establishment is truly the best. The food tasted delicious and it was served hot. I would recommend Lakeland Manor to anyone of my family members or friends anytime.

This is a great venue! The food and service were excellent. For the price, you really get a great selection of options, especially with the food. They were really cooperative and there to help us with every detail. My guests loved that Lakeland manor is a one room facility so we don’t have to share it any other party’s and kept commenting how impressed they were with the venue. Highly recommend!

Lakeland has been offering generous carry out meals during the pandemic with easy call in and pick up. The menu changes each week featuring delicious options such as chicken picata, meatloaf and several pasta dishes. Each meal is $11 bucks and includes main dish, green beans, potato, salad and roll. We have been ordering a few meals a week and have been enjoying them!

My relationship started in May of 1977. My husband and I were married there. We had so many compliments on the food and the service. We were so happy that we chose Lakeland. Through the years we had parties and baby showers. We had wakes there for our loved ones that have passed on. Lakeland made us so comfortable. I don't know how they do it. Then in 2016 my youngest son got married there. Again the compliments were flooding in. We also use them for cantering. I will never choose another venue. We are so appreciative of this family and their service to us and the community.

Yesterday I had my baby shower at Lakeland Manor on Harper. The whole experience from booking to the day of was smooth and stress free. The staff went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. At one point they even helped a few elderly guest make their plates of food. The food was outstanding ... I don't say this lightly. I myself am an event planner and I have hall food often. This was some of the best pasta with meat sauce , red skin potatoes , broccoli and meatballs I've ever had. The salad bar was so fresh and the side ingredients included everything from olives to beats

We had our wedding here this past weekend and it went spectacularly. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. This was the only hall we visited that would allow us to have 4 different color napkins to go with our theme. The owner Nicole was also kind enough to throw in appetizers for free on the day of the wedding. The only issue was the scheduling of the valet, they didnt arrive until 6pm when our ceremony started and all our guests had already arrived. Everything else went great and the food was delicious!

We held a fashion show. The entire staff was accommodating and friendly. They were able to set things up for us and made room for changing area. Probably not their bread and butter, but we're able to adapt to our needs. Family owned and operated for years and they know their business well. Food was good, served family style. However we have eaten there before, buffet style, sit down, whatever it's why we go back. Over and over again. Don't be fooled by the imitators, Lakeland Manor is one of a kind.

Was there for my husband's "Celebrate life" luncheon (lunch following funeral). Very impressed with the food and the waiters and waitresses. The desserts received a lot of compliments. For a buffet of 95 people the food was very good. Nice GREEN salad - not a bunch of iceberg lettuce! With several toppings. Rolls were fresh, soft inside and crispy outside. Penni was mild, not over spiced nor acidic plus it had large pieces of sausage(not part of the 2 meats). Chicken parmesan was very good - my son loved the breading. The roast beef was good - it's difficult to keep this tender

I would give the service a solid 5 star's. I thought the staff were super sweet and helpful. Especially the older gentlemen that may have been owner/ cook. He stood right at the buffet line to assist and answer any questions. Also I was crazy over the Bloody Mary bar. Excellent idea.

Lakeland Manor on Harper Ave in Saint Clair Shores has great banquets and service. I have been to 2 Wedding receptions and their annual Easter Brunch. All of these were top notch. The food was cooked perfectly and the deserts spectacular. Plenty of service help to keep things fresh and rolling smoothly.

Welcome to the 80's, is what I thought when I walked in for Easter Sunday Brunch. Clean & well lit, but everything was white, and a bit dated, from their decor, to how the hostess was dressed.
The food was fine, nothing spectacular for a buffet. I was disappointed that their HUGE side of Angus beef was cooked well, and they had a 'brown sauce' to go with it. I asked for horseradish sauce, and the carver replied "We don't have that, try the Aus Jus" and pointed a bucked of what looked like a chunky gravy, and THEY call it 'brown sauce' on their menu

I held my daughter's baby shower here. We did a breakfast shower. Everyone loved the omelettes. I was very happy with everything from my first phone call to inquire on their services all the way through the shower. Everything was wonderful. Guest could not get over the desserts. I would highly recommend Lakeland Manor for any event.

We did my friends wedding shower here over the weekend and we were blown away by the amazing food! Everything was so great people were talking about it the rest of the day! The staff was so great too! They kept checking in on us and even though we were suppose to be out by 3 they didn't push or rush us out and I found that very different than most venues would have done! Please give them a try for your event you won't be disappointed :)
