Either you know of, or are preparing for the death of someone you love, or you are concerned about your family and how they are going to deal with your loss, or you would like information regarding the cost of funerals. While preparation is indeed prudent, it is also important to remember that nothing can absolutely prepare us or our loved ones for death.
Deceased veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces are entitled to several benefits and honors from the U.S. government. Have the Talk of a Lifetime encourages families to have conversations about life and what matters most. When someone we love dies, families are never fully prepared for this difficult situation, call us immediately and let us handle the details.
No matter if a death is sudden, or if it something that was a long time coming, the loss of a loved one makes us feel emotional and overwhelmed. No amount of preparation can fully prepare you for the loss of a loved one. When you are in a heightened emotional state, even the most basic decisions can seem staggering.
Burial Services, also known as Traditional Funeral Services includes a visitation (calling hours), followed by a funeral service in a funeral home and/or church with the body of the deceased present. The casket is typically present at both these events, and it is your decision on whether to have the casket open or not.
When families select cremation for their loved one there are several options that are available. Probably the first and most important decision is whether to have the body present for calling hours and funeral services or to have the cremation performed first and then have the cremated remains available for calling hours and memorial services.

The most amazing experience ever! Mike and Ross have to be two of the most caring men. After losing my gramma they helped us from beginning to end. It's not just a business to them. My gram looked like a sleeping Angel. I would highly recommend when the time comes you call on Brown Funeral Home to help with all of your needs.

At the end of October, 2014, we received the sad news of the untimely and unexpected passing of my Mother-in-Law. I needed to make arrangements for her services while overseas. I immediately searched for a funeral home in the Cazenovia area and Tait Funeral Home was the first one that I looked at, and the last. I opened the page, and after reading through the site, I felt a peace that I had found the right place. I was right. By the time my family and I had returned to the states, my brothers had all the arrangements made with Brian and Morgan. My brothers had nothing but praise for the immediate

My wife recently passed away and the Tait Funeral home handled the arrangements. Brian Tate was assisted by Morgan Cowherd. They both did an excellent job and made me feel very comfortable in their abilities. They had a professional dignified presence from the very start and it continues today. Many thanks to the Tait Funeral home and for the job that they do.
