There's over 1000 reviews so there's not much more I can add, but I can probably point out a couple of small items that others have overlooked and post a few pictures.
Parking seems somewhat limited, but there is very ample space within the restaurant as well as several outdoor tables. We came in on a Monday morning and there was no wait time but, their system was down so it was cash only option. The wait staff is very good at what they do and they have a great variety of baked goods in their display cases. They definitely put on a great breakfast that's almost worthy of five stars

We went to Galveston to watch the sun rise on New Years Day. My gf looked up this place as a destination afterward. The parking was easy and the staff was very friendly. The place was very clean. We had 2 big breakfasts, 1 little breakfast, and a eggs Benedict over corned beef hash. Everything was delicious. That was the most we've seen her daughter eat in one sitting! Even the coffee was great. Brianna our server was excellent. Will definitely return.

We came for breakfast on a Monday around 8:30. Not long after we were seated it got busy and there was a wait. We were seated right away and the host was super friendly. I had a caramel latte and it was so much better than Starbucks and came in a cute mug. I ordered the eggs benedict and it was good. My husband ordered the bread pudding french toast but she came back and said they were out. That was my second choice so really a bummer at 8:30 that they were out. It's a cute place and has a bakery area as well. It was a little pricey at $60 for breakfast so we decided to skip the bakery area

I've been going here for almost a year now and it never disappoints. Of all the restaurants I've visited in Galveston so far, this is by far the best! The food is delicious and the service is outstanding when you consider this place often has a waiting line to get in. Can't say enough good about Sunflower.

Disclaimer: This review is based on a take out order. I have never been inside this eatery.
My husband and I drove to Galveston very early on our anniversary to watch the sunrise. Much to our chagrin, the day was hazy and the sunrise was basically nonexistent. But we decided to make the most of it and grab some breakfast at a local restaurant, and as soon as I saw Bread Pudding French Toast on the menu, and being somewhat of a bread pudding enthusiast, I HAD TO eat here. We decided to call in our order and have a picnic of sorts.

I was told to drive into town specifically to visit this and I guess I can see why. They had an outdoor patio where you could eat a pastry you get from the pastry bar, or wait for your to-go order. My mistake was probably going around 11 AM on a Sunday. The place was absolutely packed and it was going to be too long to get a table, so I waited in line for a pastry then in another line on the other side of the building for a drink. The blueberry muffin had a good amount of blueberries in it, but yet still somehow managed to be dry and crumbly (not in a good way). The chai was from a box and way

High Quality and locally owned! Definitely recommend as a stop in Galveston. This was one of the last places I went during month long stay, and it was a great send off.
There is alot of variety in the baked good section. Savory and sweet. I needed to send out thank you boxes for my family in Houston who hosted me for a week away from Galveston.
I was helped out by some really accommodating folks and I could feel that they really valued their work and the customer.
I also had breakfast and a mimosa here. Their waffles are super rich. Smaller portion but extremely filling as they go heavy on

Brought my parents here 2 weeks ago and they loved it.... They are already planning to bring their friends. It was very busy and we were told the wait would be 45 minutes but it was actually only 10 minutes. The food was delicious and the staff is super friendly. My parents enjoyed shopping for sweets after we finished our lunch in the bakery. It did not disappoint and we will definitely be back....

After reading all the rave reviews we were excited to try the Sunflower Bakery & Cafe, especially since my gf saw their cinnamon rolls and the pictures made it look amazing. Unfortunately, it seems that while the service is quick and attentive, the food is mediocre at best. The cinnamon roll came out lukewarm and not hot and melty like she expected. Thankfully the waitress took it back to get reheated, but that didn't seem to make it much better. It just tasted like an ok cinnamon roll, nothing too special. It probably we pre-made or made earlier since the bottom seemed like it was toasted on a

My sister in law was raving about this bakery's homemade key lime tart. Since, they also had savory breakfast items as well, we thought we'd check it out. It's a theme in Galveston, but it was packed both indoors and outdoors here. So, we ordered takeout and ate at a nearby park, since it was a gorgeous, sunny day outside and just the right temperature. In a nutshell, I think that their savory dishes were just alright. Nothing special. The star of the show was definitely the key lime tart. If nothing else, get this. They made a fresh batch for our family, since they ran out so quickly
