I've been staffing experiential/marketing events for years. At first, I hired through temp agencies. There was always a lot of micro-managing and questionable staff involved with that process. Then I found Encore Nationwide. They opened my eyes to the possibilities of what event staffing should be like for a client. They have great talent nationwide. The staff is smart, outgoing, and presentable. Encore picks the staff that meets the need of the brand I am supporting. They handle no-shows, and they always have someone to talk to about my project if I have questions.

I signed up as a BA about 10 years ago (maybe more?) and deleted my profile 6 years ago or so, but there is no way to stop the emails from them. NO.WAY. TO. STOP. THEM. I just received one last night about a coffee promotion coming up in NY... are they serious???

Encore Nationwide is a great company to work for as a Gig worker providing services as a Brand Ambassador and Promotional model. They hooked me up with some top clients in to work for in NYC and there's a quick turn around to get pay in as little as a week. I definitely recommend them and look forward to doing more gigs with them.

I highly recommend Encore Nationwide for Special Events Staffing. They are professional, responsive, accommodating, and have awesome events, clients, and staff! I have worked a lot of fun events with them over the years from the Game Stop Convention with Bethesda to working flash mobs in Downtown Freemont. I also love working their different events with the Virtual Reality headsets at different tech trade shows, Conference after-parties, and more!

As you know this BA world can be tough as a piece of steak and I don't even eat meat! Haha.
However, Encore really knows how to handle it. I enjoy working with the clients they have us with.
The events are usually high profile which I think is amazing-- it's always easy working around success.

I've been working with Encore for several years now. Detailed information is always sent pre-event. The events run smoothly and all details sent pre-event match what takes place at events. Onsite management is helpful and other BA's that are hired always work hard. I have had a few times I had additional questions and they were answered in a timely fashion. Looking forward to working with Encore again soon!!

Encore is both professional and accommodating to staff needs. I have been working for Encore in a Brand Ambassador capacity and find them to be both respectful and responsive. They also pay a fair wage for labor and have multiple interesting campaigns. Overall I have had a positive experience and would recommend them

I have to give them credit that I called twice and Tammy did answer the phone so that is a plus. I worked a Facebook event and got paid in 10 days so I liked that. I picked up a couple of fun shifts working for Castello Cheese in Fremont and San Jose in early August. Why is it Sept 11 and I still haven't seen a cent of that money? And I haven't been offered any events in the last three weeks. Tammy just seemed overwhelmed on the phone. I'm disappointed and won't take any more events with them unless it's guarenteed to be paid out in a short time like Facebook's event

I was recommended to jobpail by a friend and thought that I would get paid on time for my work with them--I didn't! I was told after 2 weeks of waiting it would be another 3-5 weeks before I get my check. I wish I read the comments here before, because I could have saved myself time.

Horrible. Haven't been paid and when you call the agency phone number on the website you are given 2 options, client sales or talent related issues and are only able to leave a voicemail. I've called and emailed my event contact in regards to nonpayment and for the payroll department and gotten no response.

The only good things about this company are the pay and availability of jobs. They took FOREVER to pay, and I mean, forever! I realize that delays can happen but I waited around 4 months to get my check which in turn almost got me evicted from my apartment! The property manager was not very happy but they did work with me. If you would need to solely rely on the income from this type of work to make ends meet, please reconsider working for this company as they take way too long to pay. The owner shouldn't treat us like that. He needs to hire more people in Accounting to get these checks processed

Booked to work a 8' o clock coffee event in upstate NY. Since I'm a NJ resident it was negotiated with Yovanny Naranjo (ext 1150) that I would be paid travel time along with my BA pay. Which was pleasing to me being that I would be outside in 18 degree wether serving coffee. 30 days pass and my check is nowhere to be found. Sine the promotion was executed 11/21 and 11/22 2016 I knew the 30 day payout would hit close to Christmas so there would be a huge chance I would not get my payment in a timely manor. I worked for Encore numerous times a few years ago. I had a regular weekend event at Costco for about a year.
There was never a time I did not receive my paycheck. And it was always on time.
Recently I worked an event for Encore at Target. I accidentally omitted some information
when I sent in my report. I received a courteous email from Encore, alerting me to my mistake.
I resubmitted my information, and a few days later my check arrived in the mail.

Why isn't zero stars an option?!
I wish I had read these reviews before working for Encore. I still have not been paid for an event I worked in November 2014. The client is a well-known, extremely cash-rich technology company that is a global household name, so I seriously doubt Encore hasn't been paid by the client in almost five months.
When I try to inquire by telephone, my calls are not returned.
When I e-mail the company through its Web site, it takes days to get a response, and then it's from someone who doesn't or won't give his/her name so I can follow up

I've worked a dozen or more events through Encore. I liked the availability of jobs and likelihood of getting booked. Rates were standard (usu. $16 and up to $20/hr for a BA). I was usually given good info about the job and locations.

Their website is pretty dysfunctional. It usually doesn't work on my iPhone and I once suggested they improve it's usability to increase talent response time (so they don't have to go to a computer to confirm a job) they basically said they weren't interested in changing it. I always wonder how these agencies find it so easy to stay in touch with talent once they're booked for an event but become ghost once the event has passed. 11/7 will make exactly two months since I worked an event I secured through this agency ... And you guessed it ... I'm still waiting for payment. I'm pretty sure their IC says payment is processed 4-7 weeks post event . Well, this is week 8 and I'm without payment and I've gotten some pissy explanation about it could take up to 8-10 weeks when I sent an email inquiry . I fronted some of my own money to accommodate
