When you enter Smoky Mountain Meadows Campground, you can leave all the "rush-rush" of your daily life behind. You will find yourself in a beautiful valley with quiet green meadows and a bubbling brook encompassing your surroundings. When you rise in the morning with dew on the grass, the birds singing, and the aroma of coffee brewing while bacon sizzles, you will feel a quiet peacefulness beyond your imagination.
When you return after a day of kayaking, biking, site-seeing, relaxing, etc., you will find the same peacefulness you experienced in the morning. The smells from the wood burning campfire will whet your appetite for a tasty meal, even prepared at your campsite. Sleep comes naturally from the clean mountain air - Sweet Dreams!

I stayed in one of the cabins for one night while making my drive from NC to OK and it was a quiet location. The lady that checked me in was super nice and even moved me a bigger cabin since I had my dogs. The sheets were soft and even had fire wood located at the check in area. It’s located in a great spot near everything and my favorite part was it was close enough to the highway I didn’t have to go out of my way but a couple minutes. I will definitely start using this place as my break from driving on my trips back and forward. I have Verizon and I had good cell service.

Beautiful and peaceful place, clean bathrooms and hot showers 😍 We didn't have much interaction with hosts, other than our trips to the office for firewood and ice. This campground has a lot to offer and is perfect for a quiet getaway. My favorite parts were being creekside and the beautiful views. Didn't get much phone service but the campground has Wi-Fi available in the pavilion, which was awesome. Highly recommend.

Very nice campground just 5 minutes off hwy 74 near Bryson City, NC. Good spacing between sites, clean shower house and restrooms. Road is a bit twisty and has one hill that is a bit of a climb, but our 31' trailer had no problems getting there. We used a pull thru site with full hook up. Scenery is excellent, night sky view exceptional. Had heavy rains while on-site, good drainage considering 3" fell. 30 amp good, sewer good. Only minor issue is water had noticeable sulfur smell, very little taste or shower issues. This is a very good tent campground. Quite adequate RV sites, I would suggest under

Guys let me tell you how awesome this place is. After some initial mixup/misunderstanding about site numbers, SMM was in no way it fault, this place was awesome. We actually, a group of 4, got moved to a group site. In our opinion the best site there. The staff or owner I met was was great! No nonsense and and super friendly. The friend I went with has stayed there at least 3 weekends in a row. I have other friends that rent a site for about 6 months for paddling season and they love it there. The sites were clean and very spacious. The bath house was very conveniently located. It was also very

Beautiful setting, facilities well maintained and kept clean.
Hot water and wireless access were not reliable.
It's a valley in the mountains - be prepared - decent rain will quickly make access to campsites and cabins soft and muddy.
A little farther from area attractions.

This is one of my favorite campground on the planet! The owners are so nice and give my group a great deal and a nice space every labor day weekend! It is mostly quiet and the campgrounds are kept nicely. The Bathrooms are well kept with nice lighting, warm showers, and nice stalls. Theres also a place to wash dishes and microwave foods! Always enjoy it here
