I can't say enough about how wonderful this campground is! The owner is so welcoming and accommodating, he even guided us when we backed in our trailer into campsite which I really appreciated. :) The campground is very clean, level RV spots, safe and quiet. This is truly a Gem you don't want to miss! My husband and I plan on making this our campground for all future trips to Bryson City, NC.

Jason and Allison saved our lives, as we were desperately looking for a safe campsite in the winter. The campsite was nestled in the mountains, far from highway noise like the other campsites in the area. There is a trout pond fed by a spring creek on site (that allows catch and keep fishing). It was everything we could have wanted - water spout, oven grate/fire pit, kiln dried firewood for sale, bathroom with showers, washing machine. The amenities are kept clean, private, and heated in the winter! Jason and Allison were right there for anything we needed as well. There are RV sites as well, and

So we got in later on a Friday night and the owners made sure to stay up for us. Right then I knew this place was going to be great. I called the next morning and asked for firewood for Saturday night. We went out for the day and upon returning our cabin porch was full of wood. He even started the fire for us. Every time that I have had a question, he’s been right there and attentive. Our cabin was perfect and clean. Thank you Kirkland Cabins for giving us a great experience!!!
Update: If I could add more stars I would. I went to our mailbox the other day and there was a package from the campground

Absolutely wonderful campground owners! Alison and Jason went above and beyond for me and my family along with other campers who may have forgotten something like a tarp or their tent fly. Super fun place for kids to play and just be kids. Location was great only minutes away to Bryson City and Tubing down Deep Creek. I hope to plan another trip in the near future! Thank you guys for the Amazing weekend!!

My family of five thoroughly enjoyed our weekend camping at Kirklands Creek Campground. My children loved playing in the creek, collecting buckeyes, and playing on the swing set. I enjoyed walking our dogs around the mountain and the beautiful scenery. It is obvious the owners love what they are doing. The bathrooms were very clean and had lots of hot water for showers.

First off we did not stay. Only stopped to inquire.
The attendant was extremely helpful and invited us to take a good look at the place.
Tucked away in a wooded area with a great man-made trout pond.
A creek close by.
The place is not large but truly unique and peaceful.
Away from noisy streets, well maintained.
Having some personal experience with area campgrounds I was impressed with it's beautiful location, only one entrance and a real office.
Suited for RV's, fifth wheels etc.
There are even a couple cabins.
It struck me as safe and family friendly.

Where to start. From the moment we began to plan our EPIC trip Jason was on point. I have never experienced a more accommodating camp host. We were a large group coming in from all corners of the country. We arrived over 2 days and had no issues. Jason is without question the hardest working owner to ever, EVER own a camp. We have reservations for later this summer and as long as it is in the hands of Jason and Allison it will be our go to for all future NC trips.

We absolutely love this place. Such a quiet area to disconnect from the world. The trout pond was so beautiful and we were so lucky to get a cabin with it right outside our front door. The owner was very welcoming and has such a talented family. The artwork done by the daughter is incredible. Their dog Zoey was the sweetest thing ever. Be respectful of their fish and land. The cabins were so clean and I liked that the rules were on the walls inside. Definitely worth the drive up. The wildlife around here is awesome. Crawfish, salamanders, cicadas... stunning!

We stayed in the upper camping area and just set up a tent. (There isn’t any electricity or water hook-ups in this upper ledge area, just FYI.) It was absolutely beautiful! The area is very quiet and I appreciated the running water and showers down below in the bath house. We are already planning our return trip to Bryson City and will definitely stay here again! The owner was super friendly as well and very accommodating to us.
