Services
Bradford Animal Hospital is located at 839 S. Main Street in Bradford, MA, and has been providing quality veterinary services including diagnostics, wellness vaccinations, grooming and treatment of illnesses and injuries to pets of all types for many years.

At Bradford Animal Hospital, we understand that your pet is more than just an animal - your pet is a part of your family and we are committed to providing them the quality care they deserve and you expect. Our approach to veterinary medicine is based on our desire to help your pet live a long, healthy life.Your pets are a vital, irreplaceable part of your life and we are honored when you entrust us with their care.
We are a general practice that excels in preventative care and your animal's well being. A yearly physical exam has been proven to a provide healthier and longer life span for our pets. If our veterinarians are able to notice pathologies at an early stage, then they are much more able to make sure your pet gets the best care possible to keep them healthy for years to come.
Although we are a day-time clinic and have scheduled appointment slots, our staff are fully trained and capable of handing any dog or cat, no matter how ill they may be. Dr. Maxmen has over 10 years of experience working at various emergency and specialty clinics, and leverages this experience to care for any sort of emergency or critical patient that comes through the door.
Oral care is an extremely important aspect of health for our dogs and cats. We focus on giving you advice in helping to prevent tarter and calculus from forming. In the event that tarter/calculus has already built up, or if there is an oral infection or tooth root abscess, we have a complete dental unit including full dental digital radiographs.
Similar to people, heart disease is a common problem in dogs and cats. If our veterinarians suspect cardiac disease, we are able to perform radiographs, blood pressure readings, electrocardiograms (ECG), and pulse-oximetry. We also staff a board certified veterinary cardiologist that is able to arrive on-site for consultations, exams, and ultrasounds of the heart (echocardiograms), if required.

Wonderful veterinarian for my first dog, a chihuahua rescue pup. She was missing fur and skinny but Dr. Maxmen said he could have her in good shape in a month. I followed his advice and she's looking great now. I'm Sticking with this clinic.
