They are so fast and efficient and compassionate. All the staff that I have encountered are professional and friendly and would give you all the time you need to get information across. I especially felt Austin and Alexis so kind and unhurried with me. Like I was the only patient in the house which I knew wasn't true. so thanks for excellent staff and warm hearted employees

These people would have made Jim and Tammy Baker envious. I was charged entering the facility, I was charged before I was allowed to leave, they then charged my insurance company, then after that payment I started receiving bills in the mail from them. I paid that bill, and they are still sending me payment due letters. The doctor was in a hurry but very capable, the physicians assistant was a professionally cool somewhat detached Asian woman. Also capable. I think the overall experience was decent physically but billing and bedside manner need attention. Desperate attention to billing.

I have had many interactions with this practice from Dr. visits for knee replacement , X-rays, MRIs, Spine Center visits for evaluation, treatment and Physical Therapy. At every visit I was treated with greatest care and compassion. Every person I came in contact with was concerned for my well being and treated me as a person and not just my condition. Amazing.

I do not recommend going to this doctor. I went to her to treat my lower back pain. Specifically for spinal injections. I had them previously and they were effective. I had to switch to Rush because of insurance. I had my previous doctor explain to her where she had placed the injections that had provided me relief. Dr Fetzer refused to inject in the same location.
She tried twice in different spots and when it didn't provide me with relief she immediately dropped me like a sack of rocks. She didn't even have the courtesy to tell me this herself and instead had her assistant

I saw Dr. Fetzer last year for severe back pain. She insisted that I begin with a series of injections. I told her that I had them before with no relief. She explained that the injections were the place to start and if there was no improvement we could explore other options. She runs the injections like an assembly line and you're in and out with very little contact with her. She did not listen to me regarding increased pain. I saw Dr. Fetzer for a spine issue 2 weeks ago. Turns out from the x-ray that I have degenerative disc disease. She spent very little time in the exam room with me and as soon as I started asking questions, she referred me to her assistant, who answered all my questions at the time. She prescribed an MRI, which I had done a few days ago. Her assistant called to tell me Dr. Fetzer said there were "no red flags" on the MRI but that she would not give any more specifics over the phone. So I'm forced to go in for a follow-up appointment just to get the results of the MRI! I've never

Do not waste your time. She does not listen to their patients problems.
Basically she told me in my face that if I was not happy with Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush treatment (or lack of it) to go and seek another clinic.
Me and my wife were treated by other doctors at the same facility for other reasons and there was no issues, so it's not the clinic it's her plain bad professionalism.

Dr. Fetzer is very knowledgeable but uncaring physician. She is very regimented in running her appointments and surgery schedule but has little understanding or compassion for individuals with complex medical conditions. I was reprimanded for canceling surgical procedures days in advance due to illness and the death of a loved one. It is obvious she makes her money scheduling procedures off-site at the Same Day Surgery Center and hates cancels because she loses money. She truly didn't care about the medical conditions or the death in my family which precluded me from having a procedure that

Worst physician ever. Don't waste your time. She does not listen to a patient's needs. She insisted I should have epidurals and injections for my herniated disc. I wanted physical therapy and she would not agree to that request. Luckily, I changed doctors received proper physical therapy and my back is in the best shape ever. No surgery, no injections. I wasted hours waiting for her and of course, she always wants a repeat appointment and an appointment must be made to even ask a question. She will not answer anything over the phone. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.
