Dr. Dao is an Optometrist in Haverhill providing complete eye care services for the surrounding communities. As a licensed optometrist, Dr. Dao provides exams, diagnoses, and treatments of all disorders that affect the eye or vision. In addition to training in eye diseases and disorders, Dr. Dao is also trained in anatomy, biochemistry, and physiology.
We are dedicated to providing the highest level of service so you can have the vision you deserve. We truly believe in routine eye examinations so that you can see as clearly as possible. Once you have to get glasses or contacts, it is even more important to watch the health of your eyes. You also need routine checks to ensure your prescription has not changed.
New patients keep our business growing, so we are always proud to offer high quality ophthalmology services to our patients. In order to have a timely first visit, we try to go over as much as possible on the phone. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have. We can discuss the reason for your visit, including whether or not you need new eyeglasses or contact lenses.
Besides choosing your frames, there are many different options when it comes to picking out your lens. However, we are here to help you through the whole process so that you can have the glasses that you need. If you are hard on your glasses, you might want to look into getting an antiscratch coating for your eye wear.

Office staff would not let me wait outside and call me when ready for my appointment. The appointment was late anyways. It was 3 pm they said 15 mins to a half hour in a full waiting room with little kids running around everywhere. I have people at home with underlying conditions. Covid? Maybe you've heard of it? The 'boss' didn't ask why. She just said "no he has to wait inside'. Find new staff. Your "boss" secretary makes poor decisions. Had to cancel and won't see me there again. Thanks for wasting my time. I didn't dodge covid this long to have you make sure I get it. Fyi all doctors offices

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Lien-Thu Dao yesterday for an eye and contact fitting exam. The entire team at Family Eye are extremely helpful. Within one hour I had my eyes examined, contacts checked and a new pair of glasses picked out and ordered. I would highly recommend Family Eye in Haverhill.

Use to love haverhill family eye care but now it is going down hill i missed my appointment and they are supose to notify you and never did i thought my appointment was today or tomorrow but it was 14 days ago and now i have to wait over a month for another appointment and I would not recommend this place because the only good thing about it now is the glasses fixes

Love this eye doctors office. All the employees are so welcoming. The doctors don't rush through their appointments. They give their patients the time and answer their questions. I have never had any issues with booking, seeing anyone, or have anyone have an attitude.
I recommend this place to anyone I know looking for a new eye doctors place.

I felt welcomed and appreciated while visiting for just a few minutes to pick out frames and get measured for new glasses. The selection is massive and the prices are very reasonable. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff were ready and waiting to help me, even though I just walked in to see if they could help me fill my prescription another eye doctors office failed to fulfill. I think I found my new eye doctors office!

I called to schedule my annual appt but was told I can’t do an eye exam and contact lens fitting on the same day because it takes too long. This doesn’t make any sense because it takes the doctor the same amount of time to do these things whether it’s on one day or two. But it wastes more of my time to come back for a second appointment so I’m going elsewhere.
