Becoming a member of Greater Tri Cities IPA is a simple as reviewing your health plan and selecting your new physician. Greater Tri Cities IPA Medical Group is a local Independent Physicians Association comprised of over 40 primary care doctors and over 150 specialists in Northern San Diego County. Each operates his or her own practice guaranteeing independent thinking and the freedom to provide personal care. Our Physicians work as patient advocates for the best preventive and diagnostic care.

Greater Tri Cities IPA is an Independent Physicians Association comprised of over 45 primary care physicians and over 170 specialists in Northern San Diego County.

Received all my referrals, even one out of network in a timely manner. Everyone was more than helpful, caring, and spent more than enough time explaining all my options. I was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer (ductal carcinoma in situ) in September. My surgery took place in early January. I would have liked all the referrals to have happened faster, but considering I have an HMO, this is pretty standard. The procedure I had was IORT, which is still in trial. I was more than happy GTCIPA did approve of it, and hope they will be more open to faster approvals in the future for patients that

Absolutely horrible! Seems that in the last 5 months denying 90% of referrals. Cannot wait to get away from this carrier
