Dr. Combs and his complete staff are terrific! They are extremely efficient, always in a great mood, they are more than helpful. I am so happy to be their patient. I went to the lab for a blood draw, I forgot my paperwork, so I called Dr. Combs office and a staff member faxed the order over right away, no delay. TERRIBLE! TERRIBLE! TERRIBLE! First off, I called as a new patient needing to be seen for an urgent matter. They told me that I couldn't get an appt for 1.5 months because I had to do an established care appt first and to go to some urgent care in PERRIS. I spoke to a female manager (didn't get her name) and she was honestly quite rude. I said that I still wanted to keep the appt so I didn't have trouble again when I needed to see the Dr for urgent medical care next time. She told me the appt wouldn't be with Dr Combs (my chosen PCP) but with Dr Ray instead...I said okay fine

I had previously posted an unfavorable rating of 1 star along with a detailed description of my bad experience specifically with the front desk. As a potential new patient, I had no previous experience with Dr. Combs or his staff. Within 1 hour of my unfavorable review being posted, I received a telephone call (not a text, not an email) but a personal phone call from a Medical Assistant known simply as “Z” to sincerely apologize for the incident and to give them a 2nd chance. My husband and I have been going to this office for years and we don’t have a single complaint! Every time I talk to someone on the phone anything I need to gets handled in a timely manner! I had some issues with an OB office and getting seen, they were more than willing to help me handle what I needed done and helped me bypass my OB office and get what I needed handled!

I'm leaving this practice after about 2 years of abysmal care. They either don't answer calls or don't return them. They do not follow with ordered referrals. I've had to call and remind the incompetent staff of what was ordered.
I called to get an appointment because I'm fairly sure I have a broken foot and the answering machine said expect a call back in 24-48 hours!! I'll be going to urgent care and changing pcp.
Dr. Combs doesn't listen. He just pontificates.

Have been a patient of Dr. combs for over twenty years. This man is probably the nicest and smartest Dr. I have ever met. He is truly concerned for your well being. I am just glad I walked into Dr.Schoonmaker office 25 years ago and Dr. Schoonmaker was out and I got to see the new Dr. That was how it started twenty-five years ago.Have been happy ever since. I have been trying to call the office for 5 days to make an appointment for follow up after being admitted at the hospital for an illness and hospital doctor told me to see primary care ASAP but NO one answer the phone and if they answer they put you on hold till you get disconnected and I just don't understand how a doctor office don't answer their phones how else do we make an appointment to be seen? It's very inconvenient and frustrating

I've been a patient at this practice since I moved here from Orange County in 2012 and my neighbor referred me to Dr. Combs. My first visits were with Dr. Combs and I found him to be very professional and then one time he wasn't available and I had Doctor Maggie and she has been my doctor ever since. She is like the box of chocolates where you weren't expecting it but you get your favorite one in the Box! I wish she was my daughter! I want to go home with her! Rude disrespectful staff in back in temecula never will i go back today was my first visit by humana from a 1:00 appointment till 315 pm i fell asleep then a second set of nurses came i'm wondering when will the doctor come in to see me the one blonde nurse was talking down to me being so disrespectful i'm 62 and will not let a 30 yr old talk to me as i'm a low life so i walked out i suggest a different office or doctor not temecula!!!

I saw Dr. Combs for the first time and all I can say is he will no longer be my PCP doctor. He came in to the room with a chip on his shoulder and seemed to be irritated about something. I have no idea what was going on with him. He then lectured me about falling and told me to go get a walker. He never once asked me what was causing me to fall so much. It was a combination of stiff joints and poor depth perception. He said that if I keep falling, I will die sooner rather than later. I am a senior and he was very disrespectful. He did all the talking as he was not in the least bit interested

Don't understand the poor reviews, been a patient for 8 years and couldn't be happier with his staff. I was seen by a PA a few years ago when Dr. Combs was running late and was so impressed that both my wife and I request her (Maggie) when we schedule our appointments. We also have seen both Dr. Vincent and another PA (Christine) and was equally impressed.

They don't care or have respect for their patients OR for their time... They really need to hire new employees upfront answering phones (who aren't family/friends with bad attitudes) Previously my insurance was through Rancho family never had the treatment I receive through this office... Wish my insurance wouldn't have changed....

If only I can give a negative star on this place, i'd do that. First - He's been the PCP of my nephew but we never saw him, met him or even get a glance of him on that clinic. NO CURTISS COMBS!
2nd - they will get you an appointment easily but will be seen by a NP or PA who doesnt know what they're doing 3rd - even if you really have a bad pain or symptoms that you've been reporting with them, they wont do anything but just to wait and next thing you know - those symptoms are in need of immediate actions. So if you are planning to see this clinic - RUN AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE
