Lived here for 3 1/2 years. Really not much to complain about for one of the cheapest 1 bedroom apartments in the area. The outside and the hallways are pretty rough, but my apartment was clean, freshly painted, and had new carpet when I moved in. Maintenance requests were always responded to within a day. My only real complaints would be the state of the parking lot and some of the other people that would live there. It seems your experience here (like most apartments) can vary greatly by what apartment/building you are put in and your neighbors. I lived in the same building as the office (A)

I've lived here for nearly 4 years now and have minimal complaints. Maintenance quickly fixes issues and makes sure they are fixed to the best of their ability. Lately my AC hasn't worked the best and after having him look at it a few times I was told to just crank it (which results in a high electric bill on my end). The apartments are spacious and extremely inexpensive in comparison to the other apartments around here. The balconies are large and there's a lot of natural light. The hallways are musty and/or smell like weed and the carpeting should be replaced in them. I've never felt unsafe here

I originally thought I'd be really happy here. The rent was cheap, the rooms were really nice and the only complaint I had was the hallway's condition and how it very often smelled like weed.
We have lived here for a little over a year now and after that first year we switched to month to month because we want to get out of here the first chance we get.
The maintenance man Darrin is absolutely unbearable and unprofessional. He gossips about other tenants, asks inappropriate questions, and oversteps his professional boundaries almost constantly. I originally thought he was a kind and dedicated

I have lived here for a year in May. I am resigning my lease. I honestly couldnt be happier here. Nina and Andrew are super nice and easy to get along with. Maintenance is always on top of things. I've never had to wait more than a few hours for something to be fixed. The size of the apartments is nice. No bug or mold problems. And its quiet!!
My only complaint are the stairs. Theres a lot lol. Worth it for what you pay though. The hall ways are outdated and need to be revamped a little. Inside the apartments is a different story. They are very nice. I'm happy here.

Maintenance was great and the size and cleanliness of the apartments are worth the price!
House parties run rampant and management does nothing to get that in check so if you value sleep or work early in the morning as I did at the time this could be trouble.
Windows are thin so street traffic/ college students walking up and down Michigan during welcome week/game day can be really loud.
Really it all depends on your neighbors. Originally we had awesome neighbors and the only annoyance was the guy downstairs that would watch a lot of war movies with surround sound which made it feel like a battlefield

Lived here for a year.
Pros:
- Nina, the leasing lady, is very nice and professional.
- It's relatively clean. It's old, but not dirty.
- None of the other residents ever bothered us. Kept to themselves and respect our privacy.
- Our apartment was clean and we experienced no issues w/ pests or things breaking, etc.
- The maintenance guy is nice and seems to care.
Cons:
- The walls are as thin as paper. I could hear my downstairs neighbor snore thru the floor.
- That being said, majority of people living here are college students. They're very loud and sometimes very rude about it. Barely

Nina and Andrew run a great complex here. My wife and I were here over two years while she finished out college. They were timely with all maintenance needs and was also very courteous when it came to all our needs. The only issue that we really had is that a lot of our neighbors liked to party at 3 am in the morning and be obnoxiously loud. We had to call the police several times because of noise complaints.
