Tony Rigatoni's Italian Kitchen
We are pleased and committed to be able to continue to serve our loyal and hungry customers during this uneasy time. We are now serving our regular Lunch and Dinner menus for takeout as well as a special 'Family Style' menu! All orders will be taken over the phone, paid for by card and will be handed to you at your car to try and eliminate as much contact as possible.

Tony Rigatoni's Italian Kitchen is a family-oriented restaurant that prides itself in its flavor-rich, widely acclaimed menu with generous portions at very reasonable prices. We serve everything from our multi-award winning Chicken Cara Mia, to our popular pizzas and calzones, to our savory seafood dishes and delectable salads.
Services
It's hard to believe that it has been nearly 30 years since a dream called Tony Rigatoni's opened in a little town called Morrison. Attempts to discourage us from opening a restaurant in a town "doomed to extinction" with the advent of C-470 fell upon deaf ears. Our time was spent painting, hammering, and greeting countless future guests inquiring as to when we were anticipating opening.

Great views, nice indoor outdoor spaces. They had heaters and blankets so the space can be enjoyed in the winter too. Great beer selection and house drinks. Our group really enjoyed it and would like to come back for a happy hour some time soon

Don't come here for dinner because the prices have gone way up and you have to pay extra for soup, salad and bread. $17 for a simple fettuccine Alfredo and you get nothing with it. Been coming here for 20 years, but no more!

We had a very good meal. I had the Penne Pomodoro with spinach and basil added. The sauce was light and lightly garlicky with lots of tomato flavor. The veggies were on-point.
My GF had the Penne Paticciata. The sausage was just spicy enough and the cream sauce wasn’t overly heavy.
GREAT wine selection as menu choices. Service was attentive and informative of available customizations.
Overall a great Italian experience near Red Rocks amongst the standard sports bar fares.
EDIT:
We decided to try the Tiramisu last min…. YUM!

So I typically only leave reviews if something is so horrible I feel it's my duty for nobody else to have to experience that tragedy again. Or it's just extraordinarily good, and they deserve the publicity. But this is hands down the WORST Italian restaurant i have ever experienced. I have shared a photo of their "chicken Marsala". Not only was the chicken completely dry the sauce was EXTREMELY watery and FLAVORLESS. They give you less than a half portion of undercooked fettuccini. But the sauce snd chicken was SO BAD I didn't even bother giving the noodles more than a

This restaurant was outstanding. The food was excellent and there was very much a local vibe to it! The outdoor seating was the way to go.

A place with a patio this cool in Morrison doesn't have to be good to be successful, but the food was surprisingly good. Tourists will love to see Pliny on tap.

Great location to get dinner if you’re going to Red Rock Amphitheater. Sitting outside was awesome. Food was delicious. Service was good and the restaurant was very busy. The bar upstairs was the parting place to be!!! TV’s upstairs had the Sunday sports on. Clean restrooms located upstairs and downstairs.

Our waitress hastily sat us down and took our order within 30 seconds of having ur menus. She basically threw our utensils down onto the table. When I received my food she slid it across the table (a very short table too). She never checked on us once or refilled our water and seemed very irritated. I've worked in the service industry for over 6 years and I know that some days are just very difficult, but you should never show this to the customer. I hadn't even started eating the second half of my sandwich and she brought the bill to us. She didn't ask if we wanted anything else

After checking out Red Rocks, we were hungry and found some yummy food to eat in Morrison. The service and food were equally great. We got orders of the Eggplant Parm Sandwiches and the Penne w/ Sausage and Peppers. The eggplant parm sandwich was yum - that moz cheese pull though!!!

The patio dining is really lovely with good weather, several tables with shade and also has a mist spray for the tables out in the heat. The patio dining was the highlight of the lunch here, with views of the mountains too.

Another fine meal... they do everything Italian great (that I can tell). Service and food quality has been consistently great for the past 5+ years we've come here. Today was more hectic than we had experienced in the past (Sunday, 76 deg, sunny! Morrison was packed!) but the wait staff did great keeping up pace and giving each customer great service.

This time around we both did the spaghetti bolognese and the sauce was amazing. Finished up with Limoncello and tiramisu. Fantastic! We particularly like sitting out on the deck under their 300 year old tree that is in the center

PROs: The food is really good here.
CONs: The waitstaff is unorganized. I also witnessed a few of the ladies making salads with their bare hands. Unsanitary. Ladies, use tongs for all of the salad items including cucumbers and tomatoes. Do not use your bare hands. Especially when you are touching other items such as credit cards, glasses, used dishes, etc.

The kitchen does crank out food quickly but the with the waitstaff being unorganized, it takes a while to get the food out. I also witnessed a cook put his fingers in the food to take something out. Gross.

What a fun little place in Morrison. They have a great patio and their staff is a great bunch of high energy folks. Had the egg plant parmigiana and it was delicious. It's not fine dining, but rather a great little corner restaurant with awesome staff.

Highly recommend for a date or lunch with friends if you're near Red Rocks. Very pretty place and it's not loud so you can enjoy some good conversation. Prices are pretty average and they have many different pastas, salads, pizzas, and sandwiches to choose from that all look delicious. I'd like to see some kind of plant based protein here somewhere though. They have vegan options but they are pretty much void of protein. Other than that, it's a great dining experience!

Three stars is the consensus here, and I'm good with that. Come here for two great outdoor patios, stay for some good but not great Italian food. I've found that the panini and the appetizers are a little better than the pasta entrees overall. But did I mention the two patios? Definitely come here when it's nice out and choose either the semi-shaded one on the side of the building or the rooftop one with the misters. I have to deduct a half-star for the country music that's been playing here every time I've visited, but I guess that works for other people. This place

Tony Rigatoni. I was skeptical about eating there but I had the Ravioli Roberto which was out of this world and and Icelandic white ale. Lynn had the Chicken Cara Mia and a Shorts beer which both were very good. Service was outstanding by Marina !

We’ve eaten at Tony Rigatoni’s multiple times and usually it’s decent but nothing over the top. Our most recent visit last week, however, was really great service-wise. They had a wait for outdoor seating so we decided to grab drinks at the bar and the server that helped us could not have been nicer or more personable. I ordered a red wine and she offered a taste before I committed and then offered another wine taster as well just in case. Seems like no one does this anymore. Our dinner server was also super friendly, prompt, and personable. Everyone working seemed like they genuinely enjoyed

Memorial Day we came in with old friends from Chicago with a group of 7. Place was very busy and staff was rocking. I want to take a look at the Rooftop Bar, and Mr Rizzi caught us. He went above and beyond accomidating us. He put together a table upstairs in the Rooftop Bar for us and we ordered off the Tony Rigatoni's menu. Rizzi changed our lives that day with his soul and his passion and appreciation for his blessings. Staff was incredible especially our waitperson. If you want great food in one of Colorados most historic locations, then go see Rizzi and his family at Tony Rigatoni&apos

This was an absolute gem of a find. For the love of god sit on the rooftop and enjoy the view. And please dress for the weather... as best you can. Damn Colorado weather..

Probably the best meatball sub I've ever had. The servers were hard working and attentive. Good communicators.

The seating outside is pretty decently separated so you're not too worried taking your mask off.

The whole town is a treat to walk through after visiting Red Rocks so don't skip it!

Amazing atmosphere! Delicious Food! Awesome Staff! We were lucky enough to grab the last table inside as it was freezing outside! Although, it would not have been so bad to dine on the patio under the stars with the outdoor heaters and blankets provided. The food was wonderful! The mussels were fresh and the pasta was delicious. We will definitely be coming back!

Pretty happy with this place after visiting so many poor restaurants in Morrison. Had a couple local beers, the burrata, and the Mac and cheese for the little one which were all good. Prices are reasonable and they have a nice little patio area off the side to sit at when the weather is good.

Man, we had a great time sitting on this lovely and large patio. Green, long, luscious vines growing everywhere and a huge beautiful tree remind you that you're in Colorado.

We ordered some drinks and apps. Service was spot on. Young and friendly.

Alright, this place is amazing. First off Thomas was our server and he was such a sweetheart. All our our meals were fresh, perfect and his recommendations were on point. The wine came out nicely chilled and there was the perfect amount of time between appetiser and entree.

My parents and I would highly recommend this. And ask for Thomas!

We ordered the penne Alla vodka and the Med salad. The penne alla vodka was actually very good. It was creamy and the pasta was cooked properly. but for some reason I was sorely disappointed with my Med salad. It just seemed to be a lot of spinach greens without the other ingredients listed on the menu.
And I realize we're in the middle of covid-19, the service was really slow.

I love the quaintness of downtown Morrison. With it being 104° in town i thought Morrison would make an enjoyable and cooler lunch stop. I decided to try tony's when I saw the nicely shaded outdoor patio. It was reasonably comfortable temperature wise (95vs101!). I was extremely pleased with the wait staff. They were attentive abd fast. I ordered the lunch pizza and salad. Salad was fresh and not overly dressed. The pizza came out piping hot. Very tasty. The patio was bedecked with blooming flowers and vines and remained insect free the whole meal. It made for a perfect lunch stop. I will be back
