We have been vacationing in Sanibel for over 17 years. We have rented and stayed at Sanibel Arms multiple times. The units are privately owned by people and rented through the property manager Nancy. Each unit is different some updated and some not. We have had two instances out of at least 7+ That needed Nancy’s attention. The first was a mold smell from the ac that had problems and water damage from a flood because it was beach front ground unit. The second was during Covid 20/20 and I was appalled at the unit(see below of rental agreement 2,100 unit D1) and the cleanliness. There was dirt

A beautiful condo complex right on the beach, our unit was well maintained and despite being one of the farther buildings from the beach, we were still right there in a 2 min walk, as is the pool. Our unit was also well stocked with every Kitchen utensil and appliance you could think of including a dishwasher.
It also had a full washer/dryer and a windowed/screened porch, heck it even had an assortment of board games. The bed was a bit uncomfortable TBH (much too firm for my taste), but that was my only problem with it.

Booked this place on airbnb for a week. It has a great location with just a short walk to the beach. It also has a great pathway right to the beach. You'll find some really great shells there. Now, my boyfriend and I noticed we were getting a lot of bites. I figured it was just mosquitos. The 3rd night we saw a few bugs in the bed, reddish stains on the mattress, and had a lot more bites. I called the manager to let her know that we presumed there were bed bugs. She said that she couldn't get an exterminator to come out until the following day so we had no where to go with no more condos

The condos are clean, light, and well maintained! The grounds are well kept and beautiful, as always. It’s right next to the beach, and there is also a pool so you’ll have options if you wanted! My family has made it a tradition to come back down to Sanibel Island yearly and we always feel so welcomed and at home! The office staff has always been so kind and accommodating. Such a good and safe place for family vacationing, we look forward to going back every year. It’s such a special place!
