Please note that reservations for outdoor dining are weather dependent and DO NOT guarantee a table indoors in the event of inclement weather. Please note that our historic building spans three floors and some of our tables are bar-height. If you require seating on our main floor or a standard height table for accessibility purposes, please inform us ahead of time so we can be sure to reserve the best seat for you!

We decided to have a team dinner here while visiting for work. Firstly Jackie did a fantastic job. I made a reservation with her a few days prior to our arrival. She asked for some plate choices before our large party arrived and had the list printed out and had the dishes sent out to our table perfectly. We had a few people that couldn’t attend but Jackie and the team were accommodating and helped adjust the dishes we ordered to better fit the attendance. Great service & flexibility. And of course, the food was delicious!!! We ate more than we should have but we don’t regret it! Fantastic

Don’t let all the James Beard awards hanging up intimidate you! The staff is so friendly, and the food is incredible. We tried three small plates: gnocchi, beets and halloumi, beef short rib (pictured), and one entree: Johnny Cake community (pork shoulder lettuce wraps) - and it was enough for two. An incredible meal!!!

Definitely the place to go for a great night of food, drink, and atmosphere! The outdoor seating is fantastic, with string lights, heating, and a nice view. We came here as a double date, mostly because with more people, you can get more tapas! They were very accommodating, and made any dish that had 3 parts into a dish with 4, so each of us could try it. My favorite tapas were beef short rib marmalade, gnocchi (comes with delicious chorizo and feta), and the corn muffins (so tasty we got two orders).

Absolutely LOVED Moxy! We probably ordered about half the menu by the end of the night, and I don't think there was anything that wasn't absolutely delicious. The drinks were even better! Very cozy atmosphere and excellent wait staff. I would say the pricing was reasonable for the area and for tapas, just be prepared to shell out because you'll want to order everything!

Lovely modern American tapas restaurant in the heart of downtown Portsmouth. We ordered pretty much everything from the menu since we were a party of six. Everything was delicious & reasonably priced. We especially loved the pork belly bites, crispy cauliflower, crispy rhode island calamari, moxy bread, moxy mini red hot dogs & roasted salmon.

Unique eats and friendly service! So many places do patatas bravas the wrong way, but not here. They were fresh and delicious. The beef short rib marmalade was bursting with different flavors. The restaurant was pretty busy... however the bartender was very attentive and friendly. Great atmosphere too!

This place is incredible. My lovely lady and I decided to celebrate New Years eve and our 1 year anniversary here! Best decision ever! It's all Tapas inspired fare. The food was mouthwatering, the menu was fun and so interesting to pick from! You'll end up choosing multiple dishes. The desserts and coffee served in its own personal sized french press were a perfect end to an amazing dinner. Our server Shannon was wonderful and super personable. She even abliged when asked to take our photo before we left. COVID19 has really hit the restaurant industry hard this year. Sadly Moxy is closing down

Tonight's meal started with the Roasted Farmers Carrots with beet relish, crispy onion, Chevre, and maple tarragon vinaigrette. It was unbelievable!!!
For dinner my wife ordered the Crispy Potatoes, spicy tomato with roasted garlic and herb sour cream and the burger sliders. That is an all-time favorite of hers. I ordered the New England Dinner 2.0, consisting of
Corned beef brisket, napa cabbage, crispy potato slivers, pickled onions & carrots with Raye's maple mustard. Holy smokes
