No idea how the food is. After paying 17.00 to park, walked in for dinner only to be told they were “doing take out only” . Facebook page, website not updated to reflect this. A huge waste of our time and money.

Always great and very fresh food! I got the steamed vegetable dumplings which were AMAZING! Cant wait to go back!

The most expensive sushi I've ever ordered. It was $20 just for one dynamite roll that only consisted of 5 pieces of sushi, 2 piece Kani Kama and an order of side salad... here's a picture, you tell me if this is worth $20??? $12.50 for a dynamite roll and only 5 pieces of sushi??? That's absolutely ridiculous.

No inside or outside dining just takeout with covid. Amazing rolls. Highly recommend the tiger, Teresa and volcano roll. Would definitely return.

Ordered takeout on the way back home after a trip to the white mountains and it was good. we got the golden spider roll and tiger roll.
the golden spider was an 9/10 it had a lot of soft shell crab you could actually taste. it fell apart really easily though.
the tiger roll was a 6/10, wasn't really feeling it. it was a lot of spicy tuna that overpowered the other ingredients.

Two different people brought our food out with NO MASKS in the middle of the COVID pandemic. It’s honestly unbelievable. We got our money back with absolutely no apology. Avoid this place at all costs unless you are willing to risk serious illness.

I ordered sushi for takeout and the customer service and sushi were fantastic. The employee was extremely friendly and even held the door open for me! They made my pickup quick and easy. They were also very accommodating for a gluten allergy in my party.

I was excited to try this place. My thought was that if it was in downtown Portsmouth then it must be great! The food wasn't very flavorful unfortunately. I did really enjoy the gyozas though. Ikko is better in my opinion.

HORRIBLE service. Will never return again. Took over an hour to get our drinks. And even longer for food. Worst experience ever.

Let's start with the staff, highly attentive, water glasses constantly filled and they checked in on us several times to make sure we were happy diners. We ordered a variety of rolls which were all good but I particularly enjoyed the beef wrapped one which I forget the name of however I took a photo of it and have posted it with this review. We had spring rolls for appetizers along with the fried garden vegetables and they were all delicious. The restroom was super clean generally I find if they keep the restrooms clean they will keep the kitchen

Absolute best sushi I have ever had! I am in town visiting from Alabama and me and my husband stopped in after a morning out. This was my first time having sushi that actually had fish on it (I was feeling adventurous lol) and it was amazing. Once I get home I know I will never find any as good. I told my husband as long as I am here if I don't do anything else before I leave I will be back here for sushi.

Love this place! Awesome service. Attentive staff and chefs. My step daughter begs to go there all the time for sushi and to watch the chefs make it. Incredible food at a reasonable price. My go-to sushi place

My favorite sushi restaurant in Portsmouth. We usually order takeout once a week. My husband has some allergies and Domo is always great about accommodating. Highly recommend for great sushi!

Place was busy when we arrived, about 8:30. Sat in the back in front of the Sushi Bar, don't make the same mistake if you select your seat or are seated. The Sushi Bar is smack dab in the middle of the entrance to the kitchen, normally not a problem for me but on this visit it took a star away from what should have been a solid 4 stars.

It seems that management allows the kitchen staff to smoke outside of the exit door to the kitchen and it appears they leave the door open when outside. I don't know if it was noticeable in the front of the restaurant but it was overwhelming and quite

I wish I were in town longer to try more dishes but I wanted to give other establishments in the area a go. During my first visit I was just so overwhelmed with the amount of options to choose from! Ultimately I went with a Spicy Combo and, don't quote me on it, but I think it was served with miso soup and soy beans. I could be wrong...I have a bad habit of not sharing my experience in the moment then I tend to forget some details.

Fantastic sushi. Great service. Nice atmosphere. Awesome location in downtown Portsmouth. Food is super fresh and beautifully prepared.

My friends treated me to lunch at Domo. The place was empty, at Monday lunch hour. Service was swift, devoid of emotion but more efficient and task focused. Lunch options include various rolls, Bento Boxes and a few specials. Two of us chose basic two item rolls with salad. One chose the Bento Box. The salads were typical ice berg lettuce with standard ginger dressing. My tuna and hamachi rolls were good but super small. My friend's Bento Box had the typical standards; shumai, tempura and salad. Nothing wow, but a good price and super fast service. The place seemed clean.

Excellent sushi! I am pregnant and they easily accommodated my requests for substitutions on some of the raw components.

The location is quaint with white table clothes. There aren't a ton of tables so space is limited. But the service was fast.

Hands down the best sushi place ever. I probably eat here twice a week and I'm never disappointed. Highly recommend the Mango Tuna Roll, the Tiger Roll, the King Kong roll. Their tuna pizza is really great also. Honestly you can't go wrong with any sushi here it's all amazing!

Stopped by Saturday evening and we were able to get a table right away. The waiters were attentive and the restaurant was nicely decorated and well maintained. Clean bathrooms too.
Overall food was good, I had the chicken avocado and the chicken was very tender and delicious. The chef sauce glaze really complimented the dish.

However the sushi was just ok. Got the salmon, tuna and California rolls. Can get better sushi at Shio or ikko instead. Overall the experience here was enjoyable.

Had the Volcano maki and it's was delicious , different from how I normally see it in MA. Waiter and waitress was attentive even if they were running back and fourth.

We loved Domo!

It's situated in what looks like an old two-story house, so it has dining space on both floors. This creates an issue for the servers who have to sprint up the stairs with platters of food, and then sprint down to fill more orders. We needed an air traffic controller on the staircase, as I had a near miss with a guy hauling a huge tray of stuff to the second floor as I was leaving.

I started off with a good sized glass of Gekkeikan Plum Wine. It was delicious and quite a nice deal for just $5.95.
