Proprietor Geoff Greene (aka 'The Man') knows bikes. He's been fixing, restoring, and generally keeping them rolling since the 1990s and has done serious time in bike factories and shops both. We took my new Rad Mini here on the advise of Rad. The owner came out adjusted the derailleur, checked the breaks, made sure all was looking right and said - “I guess it’s just like Christmas! Have a good day!” Will be definitely going back for any of our bike needs in the future!!!

A small neighborhood shop. I had been getting my bike serviced at another nearby "bigger" small biz, but their calendar was all full for the month and have to make advance appointment. Lucky to have found Geoff. I stopped by to inquire about flat tire tube. He seemed to be swamped in the late afternoon but said my bike will be ready before closing. About 90 minutes and a cocktail later, I was back on my old road bike, flying in the wind. Thanks Geoff!

Jeff at Portland Bicycle Emporium really took care of my concerns plus he went above and beyond! My bike is in working order again and she feels brand new! Highly recommend this place. If you’re going during the nice weather you’ll have to wait out a week to get your bike fixed(because you’re not the only one with the idea of getting on your bike again or getting that tune up you’ve been meaning to get, Duh)

I've been going to various bike shops in Portland with my dad since I was old enough to sit on a saddle. This is hands down the best shop I've been to. For my last repair, I took my bike in, they told me they could get it done in half an hour(!), and so I got to play pinball while I waited and talked with the owner about bikes. If you are looking for amazing value and craftsmanship coupled with a friendly, fun atmosphere, look no further!

So glad I chose this place when trying to figure out fixing my bike up. The guy here is extremely helpful, friendly, and really knows what he's doing. I've been to a few shops around town over the years and this was one of the rare times where the service was totally courteous and genuine, not to mention very fair in pricing. I'm thrilled about my bike now (which was a literal death trap before) and without a doubt will come back here if I ever need anything else. 11/10 recommend, for real.

Geoff is an amazing man. Was out walking by and felt the urge to get a bike. Easy place to find on google maps and easily able to find in real time. Geoff is awesome. He's a straight shooter who always gets it right. Fair prices and great advice. AND he warned me about the pandemic way before it came. Those emergency chickpeas in the back of my pantry, all Geoff baby 😉

I’ve gone to this bike shop a few times with my son Taylor Waters. Yesterday we were there to get him a new bike Jeff the owner is absolutely amazing! He’s very helpful extremely knowledgeable friendly and funny. All he cares about is the customer he doesn’t try to sell you any thing you’re not looking for and he gives you many options for whatever price range you’re working with. This will be the only bike shop I tell people about and will recommend going to! Thank you Jeff
