Services
Project ECHO's mission is to empower students with entrepreneurial and leadership skills so that they can thrive in college, their careers and in their community as change-makers. We believe entrepreneurs are made, not born. A combination of hard work, drive, determination, empathy, making mistakes and learning from them are the ingredients that will make our students successful business and community leaders of tomorrow.
Project ECHO volunteers share their expertise as they support teens on their entrepreneurial and leadership journeys. Mentor teams as they ideate, research and prepare to pitch their start-up at the Business Plan Competition or classroom showcase event. Share their start-up journey or industry expertise with our teens at an event, on a panel, or in an interview.
Acceptance to an internship during high school, or into one's college of choice, can be greatly enhanced with extracurricular programs, such as Project ECHO's Entrepreneurship Programs. Entrepreneurship programs will provide teens with a foundational business school education combined with real life application as they learn to ideate, create, research, market, finance and prototype their own business.
You have an idea, a product or service that will set the world on fire. Yet even with a great idea, entrepreneurs need to have a well-developed business description, marketing research, defined strategy and a thorough financial framework. Imagine you're on Shark Tank - how will you get the attention of the judges?
Entrepreneurship is a proven way to ignite a teen's creativity, curiosity, and innovative spirit. Register today for an activity-based after school program that builds life, academic, and personal skills while helping teens to ideate and create a business and pitch. Participants will also receive a Certificate of Accomplishment, and an excellent experience to refer to on college admission essays and applications!
