Cardiovascular training, or aerobic training, is a type of exercise designed to increase muscular endurance by improving the performance of the heart and lungs to distribute oxygen to the muscles. Cardiovascular training can also help one achieve and maintain a healthy weight by burning calories. Exercises of this type use large muscle groups, and involve raising the heart rate to a target rate for at least 30 minutes.
Igor Fedorov has an amazing ability to bring out the best in people. Working with him I was able to accomplish things I never dreamed I would be able to do. When we started, I was 60 pounds overweight with 40% body fat and 15% lean mass. I got winded doing simple chores. As a result of the progress I made with his guidance, I was able to complete my first ever triathlon and actually won a medal (my first ever) competing in a 5K.
Everyone is different, so what may work for one may not always work for the next. The amount of training days also depends upon your current conditions, goals, schedule, budget and my availability. You may "need" to workout with a trainer four days a week, but only have the time or budget for two days a week.
