We are always excited about meeting new patients during their first visit to our office. Your initial appointment will consist of a thorough examination and a discussion of potential treatment options. This important 30-minute visit will give us insight into your orthodontic needs. We know your time is valuable, so to expedite treatment, we may also reserve time following the exam for diagnostic records.
A Proxabrush is an interdental (between the teeth) toothbrush that you may use to clean underneath and around your wires and braces. Use the Proxabrush gently to avoid damaging your wires. The Proxabrush will help you to clean your braces while maintaining healthy teeth and gums. Peroxyl, a hydrogen peroxide antiseptic mouth rinse, will reduce inflammation to your gums and cheeks.
An underbite is characterized by the lower jaw extending out, causing the lower front teeth to sit in front of the upper front teeth. Spacing problems may be caused by missing teeth, or they may only be a cosmetic or aesthetic issue. The appearance and function of your teeth are impacted by this type of bite.
Call our office as soon as possible if you break or loosen any of your appliances. Please do not come directly to the office - by calling us, you will allow us to create a time to see you. Even if you have a regular appointment scheduled, call us immediately to notify us if you need an appliance repaired.

I love this place. Dr Kapus is excellent, friendly and very knowledgeable. when I talk with him he always talk about the latest research which means he keeps up with the science. Also he's not pushing for products. The place us super clean. And pre-pandemic kids had lot of high tech console to play with while waiting. even some Gameboys at the chairs.

We took our daughter here for an orthodontic evaluation, and were very impressed with the staff and service. Dr. Kapus took the time to explain everything as well as outline when various options would be appropriate based on our daughters age and current stage of growth. My wife was impressed with the honesty and integrity (no procedure was recommended at this time, but it's coming...), and my daughter liked the decorations and staff. We'll definitely be coming back here when it's time to put on the braces, as well as to get an earlier evaluation on our youngest so we can avoid more extensive work
