Dinner Bell Motel

Rented the wheelchair accessible room with 2 queen beds. It’s 6am right now and my boyfriend and I have gotten maybe a whole hour of sleep. These beds are trash. The beds squeak, creak, and sink in. Next time we are in town, we will just make the drive to CR for better hotels.

Family owned business. Amazing staff! So accommodating, great communication. Very reasonably priced, clean rooms (some may need updates here and there), great location: a restaurant next door, close walk to shops. The area is safe according to the stats online and local people.

Dirty, bugs, broken fixtures. Unsecure door lock, noisy. No smoke detector exposed wiring.

Awesome little hotel great place to stay, clean rooms and Beautiful management, very kid friendly.

Staff nice. My room was on the dirty side. The bathroom mirror looked as if it hadn't been clean for a while. The sink was dirty and the walls had things on it I didn't want to know.

This place is an absolutely fantastic place to stay....the people are so kind caring and compassionate here....it is in a very nice safe location.... absolutely superb experience......my boyfriend and I highly recommend this place.... definitely our home away from home....very clean and quiet....nothing bad to say....thank u Katrina and Mama

The first appearance was that people lived there.People hanging out sitting on old furniture.(I understand that people need somewhere to live if regular Apts are not an option) We checked in around 830pm and are room wasn't ready.Floor was dirty, bed was old,thin and sagged, could feel springs when you sat down uncomfortable to sleep on. No water pressure in shower. No coffee maker in the room. . There are old furniture sitting outside of the rooms. Rooms are small. Restaurant next door overpriced.I don't know where Booking.com came up with 8.2 rating I would personally think it would be

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
The room was filthy... stained sheets, and bugs on the floor. When I went to complain, they moved us to another room, which was just as bad... musty odor, urine on the toilet seat. Within an hour of being in our room, THE ELECTRIC POWER WENT OUT TO THE ENTIRE MOTEL! At that point, we packed our stuff and drove down the street to a legitimate hotel (Comfort Suites- absolutely perfect; highly recommended). I demanded that they refund my credit card, to which they REFUSED! Dinner Bell is a disgusting, hell-hole. You'd be better off just sleeping in your car.

This is a cheap motel but I love the location very central and convenient to Dunnellon. The rooms are large and clean the bed was comfy . I like the staff they were nice people and it's a local owned business not a chain. There are lots of people and families around enjoying themselves its a good vibe good energy which is rare for a cheap motel .
