Services
In 2012, we set out to create a warm and inviting spot where visitors and locals could enjoy a fresh and healthy casual dining experience. The first iJAVA was opened in a historic building in the Delmas Park neighborhood adjacent to Downtown San Jose. As our reputation for fresh and tasty dishes and quality coffee drinks grew, so did our footprint.
Beef patty topped with caramelized onion, fried egg, avocado, lettuce, tomato, pickle on a homemade brioche bun. Served with chips or roasted potatoes. Roast Rib Eye, Caramelized Onion, Gruyere Cheese, on Homemade French Baguette with Au Jus dipping sauce. Side Salad of Greens, Tomato and Jicama. Select your roast from light to dark.
If you love our in-store experience and want to take a little iJAVA home with you, we also sell our hand-roasted coffee beans, delivered fresh for premium flavor, our favorite do-it-yourself Chai mixes, and premium accessories for the coffee and tea enthusiast. Available for purchase at all locations or through our Order Online feature.

Have seen iJava on Auzerais for years and hadn't stopped in. When I saw the new restaurant my friends and I thought we'd give it a try. Started with the homemade coffee cake to share...delicious! I had the chilaquiles and I've got to say, it was different than others I've had in a great way. The sauce on the tortilla chips was a thick chorizo sauce (vs salsa or an enchilada sauce) to which they added fresh corn (great crunch), quest fresco, cilantro & jalapeños. The flavors & textures worked so well together. One friend had the avocado toast and the other had

Amazing!!! The coffee and breakfast options were perfect. My Mom and I enjoyed eating the power scrambled bowl and "create your own Crepes" option. We were looking for breakfast options. This cafe popped up on Yelp.
Food - Hands down one of the gems of San Jose. The food is healthy and they now serve dinner Tues through Sat 4pm-8pm.
Beverages - Coffee and the Lattes have a beautiful presentation
Ambience - 50s music matches the vibe of the cafe
Workers - Very friendly
Make sure to check out their variety of coffee
Parking is a little inconvenient at this location. There is a public

It was a good experience with java Cafe I was leaving for a business meeting and then a taxi dropped me at the FLIX bus stop (under an overpass, no seating)it was a hot day. I entered the premises of I JAVA CAFE then a server welcomed me in a very good and well-mannered way then he gave me a comfortable place for sitting and serve a menu card which was very eye-catching and colorful then I decided on some items like
Indian salad with lemon soda
Asian chicken
then lava brownie
after Had a lovely Asian chicken and salad ordered for cucumber juice. then I have decided to departure it was good

I got one of their seasonal lattes (tres leches pumpkin) and their French toast. The drink was tasty but could have been a little hotter. I like to consider myself a French toast connoisseur... the stuff here is AMAZING! The staff was also very friendly and the inside is nice and clean. I'm just passing through town and so sad I won't be able to comeback here for more! Highly recommend!

I came here after looking for a new coffee place downtown and I'm glad I found this spacious spot! Parking is a bit tricky, so I just park on the street on the corner.
iJava closes early but I can see someone studying here or grabbing lunch with friends/coworkers. I was craving Mediterranean, and I just got to say, I don't recommend it. The falafels were just not good and the ingredients were so-so. It didn't taste fresh.
The menu is so extensive that it was a bit daunting, but I'm giving a good review for the service and I'm pretty sure they do their other basic foods

What a great find. We stayed at a hotel near the convention center and wanted to walk to breakfast. We found this quaint little spot. Seems very popular with the locals. I had a vanilla latte and avocado toast. My husband had an americano with a breakfast burrito. Everything was delicious!! The staff was amazing. The ambience was great. Will definitely be back when visiting SJ again!

Pros: amazing Mocha
Mexicali Burrito is apparently really good
Con: if you order gluten free toast you get totally skimped out on food.
The pictures show a large piece of bread that takes up a whole plate. But for GF they don't make up the size difference by giving 2 pieces instead of one.
- so don't go hungry

Happy to have found this cafe on Yelp while at the annual San Jose Summer Jazz Festival.
We typically eat closer to our hotel, but noticed many of our regular spots had closed. This cafe did not disappoint. It was a little over a half mile pleasant walk from the hotel.
The interior was clean and stylish. Pour over coffee samples we offered when we arrived.
The menu had quite a few vegetarian & vegan options (bonus!). I opted for the vegetarian crepe which was delightful. The crepe was quite thin- which I like. Plenty of tasty vegetables inside. My friend had the vegan bowl & loved

TL;DR: Good food, but painfully slow wait times for simple orders. Too expensive for quantity of food.
After 4.5 years of working within walking distance of iJava and eating there probably on average once or twice a month, it's come time for a review.
First off, let me say I think the food is pretty good- there's some more unusual mixtures of ingredients that definitely is original. You are going to have a hard time finding some of these flavors elsewhere, even though the entrees are not that uncommon. The ambiance is nice for a slow weekend morning, and it's nice they have a

I was staying at the Hilton by the convention center and wanted breakfast. IJava had fantastic reviews so I was excited to try it out. I was disappointed.
The location is good enough. Across the freeway from the hotel, just outside of downtown in a mainly residential neighborhood. The cafe is in a small building shared with a salon of some sort of I recall correctly.
You order at a counter which went fine. I got the Mexicali plate. (They offer all burritos as a plate as well). It wasn't very good, which is why the three stars. I almost put two but wanted to give benefit of the doubt.

I've been coming here for over a year and it is my all time favorite breakfast/lunch spot in town. There's just something about the quality and taste of their food that is a cut above the rest! Literally every item I've tried on the menu is beyond delicious. I can't pick a favorite! Be careful once you visit here you will be hooked!

I've been coming to iJava since 2018 and I really love the vibe they make as a neighborhood coffee shop. Definitely somewhere I visit when I'm in town. I really want to love this place but I was pretty disappointed. Visited for the first time in a while and saw they started roasting their own beans! Only qualm is, the freshest beans were roasted over a month ago and some varieties were roasted in 07/2020. Roasted coffee typically follows a freshness of 15 days. The latte I ordered had very little espresso flavor to it and the milk was way too foamy for a latte.

Discovered iJava through instagram and saw that they have a huge breakfast menu (including lots of burrito options - been on a mad breakfast burrito hunt lately), and we finally got a chance to stop by today!
We ordered:
- Fully Loaded burrito [$10.50]: I really liked how the fully loaded burrito had turkey bacon instead of pork bacon as I find pork bacon typically makes burritos quite greasy and too heavy half way through.
- Smoked Salmon Toast [$9.95]: very generous amounts of salmon and eggs were perfectly cooked. this might be slightly better if we ate it on the spot rather than bringing

It has been very difficult finding a coffee shop (or any place really) to sit and do work. I'm SO HAPPY to have found this place.
Here's why!
They offer safe inside seating (12 person capacity)
Wide variety of beverages and food
Reasonable pricing
Comfortable & clean tables WITH outlets :)
Last but not least, great customer service!
When we arrived, we pulled into their 2 space parking area - luckily, we parked in one! Right next to the parking space is additional tables and seats with a tent for cover/shade. We walked into the indoor space and

I ordered the pistachio latte 2 weeks ago and it was delicious with a lot of pistachio chunks. Today's latte looked watered down with ZERO pistachios. Not one piece. Different baristas but shouldn't the recipe be the same? I specifically came here for this drink. The beetroot chai also looked watered down today but the taste is decent.

Ordered the Katsu burrito for $11, after tax. Waited about 10 minutes for the order to come out.
This location has indoor and outdoor seating, which was nice.
Eating the Katsu burrito, the chicken was dry and unseasoned itself. Felt more chewy and wasn't pleasing to eat...reminds me of frozen chicken katsu lol. I honestly thought the chicken was kimchi too, and wondered why there wasn't any pickled flavor every time I bit into it, till I realized it was chicken. Wasn't as great as I thought it would be and left a little disappointed since I was looking for something a bit savory. The rest of

This is one of the best cafes in the area I've been to. The food is great and not just stuff they put into a microwave and reheated like alot of other coffee shops or cafes around here. There's a large menu of things to choose from and it's all awesome. They even serve beer and wine here! The staff here is also super nice and accommodating.

This place is great and an unexpected surprise. Food presentation and taste is so much better than the price would lead you to expect. I had the breakfast katzu burrito ($10) and my gf had the salmon toast ($6).
Will go back again to try some of the other things we saw on other people's tables!
PS there is outdoor seating so we were able to eat with my dog with us...
