Pearl Cafe

We were in the area and wanted a snack so we bought Kahlua fries. It was sooo good. I didn't see any post on it or photos so I was a little hesitant, but we were super happy we bought it.

It has Kahlua pork, green onions, cheese, top with egg. The gravy was already good, so we didn't put on the chipotle mayo. And the fries were well seasoned and crispy. We will be coming back to try other foods.

Hawaiian BBQ Beef Short Ribs, Steamed Rice & Macaroni Salad! Very tasty! Would definitely go back the next time I'm in town!!

Loko moko was good. I'd eat here again but wouldn't drive out of my way. The staff was really nice though.

Pearl Cafe is an unassuming Hawaiian BBQ joint that also serves up a variety of pan-asian food. You'll want to stick to their bread and butter (well, their meat).

I had the combination plate with beef, chicken, and beef ribs. Soaked in a sweet and savory Hawaiian BBQ sauce, I knew from the first bite that I was in for a treat. The beef slices did get a little bit stringy, but the chicken was tender and the beef ribs (I think technically the short ribs) were very juicy.
Rounding out the meal is the standard Hawaiian macaroni salad, and if you want, a variety of Hawaiian drinks.

Bought some milk tea here was not even blended good and had a horrible taste! Do not purchase milk tea from here!

Ordered food for a Luau birthday party. It was ready when I arrived. I ordered fried shrimp, Kailua pork, macaroni salad and rice. Everyone loved the food. I did not eat since the group is still sheltered but I tried the shrimp and it was among the best I have ever had. The staff was very nice as was the owner, who called me to take my order a week before. Thank you for helping make my daughter's birthday special. I will definitely stop by for food again.

I've been coming to pearl cafe for almost a year now I normally come on my breaks while I'm at work well I went in today and received poor customer service and attitude when I asked for extra katsu sauce the cashier said I'll have to charge you a extra doller then threw the sauce on the table when other times this wasn't a issue I didn't appreciate her attitude don't come to work if you have a attitude stay at home I can spend my money else where

Decided to try this place for lunch the other day. I ordered the Katsu Loco Moco. Tbh, I've never had a Loco Moco with chicken katsu before and to my surprise it was really good! I placed my order in store and the food took about 20 mins to come out. I didn't mind waiting as I was in no rush. The environment was clean and open, the staff was friendly, & social distancing and mask wearing are enforced. Overall I would recommend this place if you're in the area for some Hawaiian food. On a side note they also have boba tea here too.

First entering the store, you would think it's a drink store as their only menu on the top are for drinks. But, if you ask them for the food they will give you separate menu for it. We got the Musubi Combo, Morning Musubi, Chicken Katsu, and Pork Kaluha for lunch. The Musubis were really hot when we got them and they give you a side of sauce for you to dip them in. Overall, portion size was good and taste wise was what we expected.

I stopped by the restaurant to place To Go order and when I returned from running few errands, food was ready!

The lady working at the cashier was courteous and she was kind enough to bring the bag out for me (Thank you!)

Spam Musubi was simple, but good. Chicken was a bit tough for my taste but it was still good.

All cooks were masked up. I will definitely be back.

I'm new to the area, but was pleased to see that this restaurant offered delivery through grub hub. I ordered before they opened and my food arrived hot with sauces on the side as requested.

I visited the place but the kitchen staff was cooking without mask, that's stupid. I don't know how the people don't understand the Covid situation.

Food is available to order online and then eat outside. Friendly staff. Very solid sized portions and quite tasty. Especially consider the combo plate like chicken and shrimp or the loco moco as that's what our party got and we all really enjoyed it. Breakfast musubi was also a group favorite, but try eat while hot and fresh.

Loco Moco! Quaint little cafe that makes for a great place to unwind, study or savor a coffee. They also have a full menu of food, ranging from American sandwiches to Hawaiian. My favorite is the loco moco.

Wouldn't have known about this place if I didn't search Yelp. Lol! Within the plaza of Kohl's and Walmart, this cute little cafe is located in the corner. (A bit next to the entrance that is directly across from Target).

When we pulled up, we first see a sign for drinks, like smoothies and such. So I got confused. When I pulled around the side entrance to park, I see the sign for the Hawaiian bbq. Cool! This is the place.

Family owned cafe that serves Hawaiian food, breakfast, and boba tea. The café isnt very big but its pleasant and clean. The staff is very nice and the food was good. Portions are gigantic, so it justifies the price (~$14 for a plate and ~$12 for a bowl). I didnt eat even half of my bowl, so I wish they had mini bowls under $10.
The boba was tasty and for $4 with the pearls included, it is cheaper than most boba places; the only bad thing is that you dont get to customize the boba order as much, but it wasnt very sweet anyway (I usually get 25%-33% sweetness level). There is also a promotion

Quiet little hole-in-the-wall Hawaiian. They got a lot going on (boba, bagels, Anerican, cafe), but their BBQ combo plate for $16 was great! A little pricey for a plate lunch, but it's likely enough for 2 meals.

Only been here once but really liked it. At first thought it was a hit expensive, having an L&L not too far from here. I tried it one day and the portions are huge, felt even bigger than the L&L portions. The bowls come with more veggies without compromising the amount of meats, so it is relatively healthier.

Big plus for having boba. The first time you order boba you can get it 50% off if you sign up for an app, ask them about it!

Will come back to try out more things. Love that I can have leftover for a whole other meal the next day x)

A fusion of Hawaiian and boba tea. Had their bbq combo that came with beef, chicken, and short ribs. Portions were definitely huge and one order was enough for two people. The chicken was very most and the short ribs were excellent. The beef was a little tough.
Would return as food quality for the price was great.

Little disappointed with their bubble tea. Got the Thai iced bubble tea. Boba was really hard and not enjoyable. The tea flavour was fine without it albeit a bit too sweet. But they really ruined it with the hard boba.

I was impressed to find boba here! The girl was so nice to ask me when she saw I had a puzzled face, so she got me in! :)

If you're craving a comforting Hawaiian meal in Mountain View...come here! I've actually not eaten in the cafe yet, but my boyfriend and I tend to order via DoorDash every couple of weeks. I stopped by once on a Saturday morning to grab food to-go and they didn't take too long to prep everything. Since this cafe is in the same plaza as Trader Joe's and Safeway, I can see us stopping by sometime after running errands.

Dirty, rude staff, and flys in my food and my friends food. Never again. Given them multiple chances but i guess this is just how it is.

Horrible customer service. I have never been treated this way in my life. The two Latin women who work here are extremely rude. I called to complain when we left the restaurant and she refused to let me speak to the manager. The woman put me on hold and was talking to her other coworker about my family and I (speaking nothing but lies) and then hung up on me. I can’t believe that an establishment is able to treat their customers this way and still be in business. When looking online I see that I am not the only one who has been treated poorly. Good boba with interesting flavors. I like how it's a restaurant mixed with a cafe, so there's lots of space and tables if you want to stay for a meal. The boba is generally priced around $3.50, but I recommend trying the seasonal specials/secret menu items
