Our central location offers guests easy access to all of New Hampshire's attractions; from the Lakes Region to Mount Washington.
We came back for our second annual visit this past July. Our stay was peaceful and pleasant. The proprietors are welcoming and kind, as well as knowledgeable about the White Mountain range with lots of tips and insights about different locations to visit for views. Modestly priced motel with impeccably clean rooms.

Services
The property where the Shamrock Motel is located, has been offering lodging to travelers since the 1930's. After passing through various owners, the property was purchased in the late 1950's by Don and Phyllis Manning. Many of our guests today remember coming to the 93 Motel and it's pancake house when visiting the area with their parents.

Great location an magnificent view.Roustic rooms which were extremely clean. The owners a couple were very hospitable an most accommodating. The room rate for this place was a fantastic deal.What was the best was the wife one of the owners delivered a basket every morning.Fresh fruits , homemade muffins , hard boiled eggs , an granola bars....I would stay here over any corporate hotel.I wish more mom an pop places still existed as the big corps put so many out of business.If ever in New Hampshire an I. White mountains do give them a stay.

This place is a magical little place and so unexpected! The owners ate THE sweetest, kindest people. They take such amazing and meticulous care of the gardens, cottages and animals. I've lived in the area for many years and never knew how perfect this place is! I highly suggest a stay here. If you're looking for a peaceful little haven with beautiful mountain views, peace and quiet, and a friendly goat or 2 to pet, this is the place to stay

Have stayed her at least 7 times over a number of years, in both the summer and the fall. Fantastic touch point for all the area attractions.
Byron and Donna are genuinely kind and generous people and an absolute joy. The kids dig the petting zoo, game room and pool.
For vacations as in real estate, you can't over value location, location, location.

Byron and Donna are fantastic hosts. They genuinely care about their guests and will go out of their way to make your visit awesome!( including helping out with a jumpstart two mornings in a row!) The cottages are always very clean and comfortable and with great mountain views. The location is perfect for trips down the Pemigewasset River. If you're heading to the White Mountain area, it would be an added bonus to look up the Shamrock!

We visit the White Mountains regularly for backpacking and hut-to-hut trips with the kids. We've stayed in many motels up in the Whites and let me tell you, there are some places where I wished I had the guts to check out immediately after checking in. I don't remember how we found the Shamrock Motel, but we've been going there for two years now and I don't think I've ever met nicer innkeepers than Byron and Donna. Nicest innkeepers. Modestly priced motel with impeccably clean rooms. Have stayed at the Shamrock for two years and use it as our home base for backpacking in the White Mountains. The cabin we stayed in has two bedrooms with room to sleep 5. And the views out the front window are magnificent. Will return again as long as Byron and Donna are the innkeepers.
