Horrible experience after being a recent good customer. My nails are not the same shapes or sizes, and Gina drilled into my cuticles and made me bleed. Rude male employee gave me a hard time when I politely asked him to smooth one corner of one nail. I will not be going back and neither will my husband.

Unfortunately I'm downgrading it to 3 stars because quality and service are inconsistent. The pedicures start at $27 and no chip manicures are $32.
Pedicures are generally good.
The nails -- depends on who you get and how busy they are.
When folks call, they say there's no wait but there is. I personally get annoyed when it happens to me and don't understand why they don't tell the truth.
Some ppl will get two ppl working on them (hands and feet). Others are made to do both separately. Same day, same time window. No rhyme or reason.

This is my second time Giving this place a shot. Unfortunately will never be coming back! As you can see from the pictures you can totally see the previous set it looks yellow the French tip on my index finger is very sloppy and you can see remnants from the dust on my actual French tip on every other nail. I can tell my nail tech noticed these imperfections but decided instead to ignore the imperfections because she had another client. I honestly allowed her to do her job but I noticed the imperfections once my hands were drying I unfortunately could not tell her to redo my nails because I had

The guy did my nails and after he finished got up tuned off the over lamp on my hands and said 5 minutes walked away and nerve came back. Then the short older women started speaking in Chinese I guess so the girl at the station next to me got up and said You can go and I said do I get lotion and she said no we don’t do that here. They lost a good paying customer.

I was visiting Chicago on business and needed to get a refill on my nails. Fancy Nails was right around the corner from my hotel and had good reviews so I decided to give them a shot on 7/17/2019. The inside was clean and the staff was friendly. I mentioned my two thumbnails were lifting and asked that they fix the issue. Well they didn’t. All they did was put glue on the side that was lifting and that was it. These are white tips so the idea is to have clean looking nail beds but that’s not what I got. I now have fungus growing on two of my nails on top of my thumbnails are almost completely

I've gone to Fancy Nails twice. First time was not a bad experience, I had a bit of a wait, but that didnt bother me because everyone was working and it was later in the day so I expected to wait a little bit. I had a gel/no chip manicure and the woman doing it was very kind.
The second time I went in I had a regular manicure done. The woman was again, very kind, but filed the thickness of my nails down so much they are incredibly week. I've had to cut all my nails off post-manicure since they are so flexible they break and tear off when they are growing out.
I will not be going back.

Today was the worst experience. Just got my nails done. My thumb is still bleeding. I showed the manager and all she said was “Oh.” I even showed her my other hand where blood was exposed but not as bad as my… thumb. Never ever will I use one of the lady nail techs I had today. Unfortunately I didn’t get her name since I was quite upset. Still a nice place to go to. Just make sure they explain their $10 off punch card deal protocol to you otherwise you’ll lose a stamp at the end when you go to use it. They don’t always ask you for your punch card either.

I have tried various Nail Salons in Lombard and Villa Park with mixed feelings on each. Some appeared to take cleanliness very seriously and others did the minimum. Fancy Nails is the cleanest salon I have been to in the area. Additionally, the entire staff is kind, professional and make you feel like you are having a day at the spa. They mentioned other services but were not pushy about them, nor did they attempt to bring up the same service repeatedly as if that persistence would cause me to change my mind.
