Everything on the menu looked so delicious, and I decided on the poached eggs over ratatoui and grits. It was good, but I had never had ratatoui before, and was expecting something a little different. The others I was dining with had pancakes and French toast, and those were very good. We came back they next day and it was just as good.

Best breakfast burrito in the quarter hands down. Plus if you want something sweet the banana Foster is very good as well. I'm a local and always tell the tourists to go here for a real at home feel.

GREAT FOOD! GREAT SERVICE! AMAZING ATMOSPHERE! Our server, (the beautiful young lady who had black and red hair at the time) had my family's taste buds pegged and provided the best recommendations. Bloody Mary was amazing according to hubby. My children had her make us her special flavored lemonade and they ordered some to go too! Mark was also very helpful. Glad we went at a time when it wasn't to busy.

My wife and I came to Jimmy J's after planning on going to another breakfast spot and being told the wait would be over an hour. We decided to take a walk and see if there were any other places serving breakfast with the lesser wait. Then we came upon Jimmy J's which was a cute little spot that had some street seating, breakfast options, and was willing to see this right away. All in all already a win but but it didn't just them there.

The staff was super nice and very attentive They sanitized our table as we sat down. I had ordered a bloody Mary and it was particularly good I

Good food but a long wait. I'm not sure I would wait again, but it was enjoyable. Make sure you read your menu. My food was good, but I thought it was coming on a biscuit, not on french toast. The sweetness threw me off because I wasn't expecting it. Good food though.

This place is amazing! It's worth the wait. We stopped here for brunch before our flight home. I only wish that was our second visit and not our first. The food is amazing. The service was great. You won't regret eating here!

Definitely worth giving this place a shot. Very small hole in the wall, you may miss it walking down the street but they have a way of drawing you in. Very friendly service, we both had a benedict, the crab cake and the crawfish. They were both delicious, my only complaint was the food was not very hot, but I am a little bit of stickler when it comes to hot food. I will definitely be back for another round. I am sure it will be 5 stars the next time.

Such a cute brunch place! The decor was on point with Jazz and old French Quarter vibes. The food was amazing. The crawfish cake Benedict, crab cake Benedict and the omelette were all tasty. Also the Beignet sticks were so good, basically sweet version of fries. Creative! The waitress, Amber, was extremely attentive, helpful, and witty. My friends and I absolutely love the overall dining experiences.

I give this place three stars because the service was very good and the waitress was very friendly. I got the three meat omelette and an order of French toast and my boyfriend got the western omelette with an order of French toast. My food was OK the omelette could've had a little bit more cheese and a little more seasoning because when you cut into the omelette everything falls out of the omelette because there is nothing to hold it . The French toast tasted like it was almost store-bought. But the potatoes was very good. Would I go back to this place again?...... The answer is no but the

Seems pretty basic at first glance, but nothing basic about the food in this tiny little gem. For your sweet tooth was the bananas foster French toast. Golden brown, crispy edges, creamy center didn't disappoint. Topped with a classic bananas foster caramel sauce, bruleed bananas, and sausage. For me the star was the breakfast bowl of grits, cheese, crumbled crispy sausage and bacon bits, poached eggs, green onions. Have it topped with the tomato garlic cream sauce.. hard to beat. They offer a wide variety menu of delicious sounding items. We will return...

Absolutely delicious! Tried the side of sausage gravy and biscuits, trio Benedict, and fruity pebbles French toast. Each one of them was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Eggs were poached to perfection and the cream cheese sauce on the French toast could not have hit the spot any better for something sweet!
Definitely will be back every time I visit New Orleans :)

So it does look and feel a little like a hole in the wall place, but I definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a quality bite to eat.
The food was flavorful, everything was delicious, I just wish I had ordered more. The pork was well seasoned and the sauces were really well made.
I would recommend.

My sister and I were so glad that we came here when we did, What seemed like a little hole in the wall, was a real treasure. The staff was so friendly and the food was AMAZING. Literally everything we ate in New Orleans was great but as far as breakfast goes, this takes the cake. I got the banana fosters French toast and she got the crab cake Benedict and we both loved what we had. Not one single complaint.

I really enjoyed this little cafe. The staff were super welcoming and friendly and the food was on-point. Not too much, not too fried - just right! Also good selection. I wish they carried some salads too for replacing some of the side orders of fries or onion rings.

Jimmy J's was a perfect start to the day, I had a seafood omelet with crawfish, shrimp, and spinach inside. I loved it! The egg was fluffy, cooked nicely, and the potatoes were actually some of the best I've ever had.

I've been obsessed with Bloody Mary's lately, so I have been making it a point to order it when we go out to eat and Jimmy J's Bloody Mary is definitely in the top 5. They don't go overboard on the horseradish, which some places tend to do. They keep the garnishes simple, and I personally like that.

The staff have a great energy about them and never
