Amore Bakery and Caf is located in Historic Old Gretna. Bonnie was blessed to work alongside her father and two brothers at her father's business and wanted to give the same opportunity to her two daughters. Bonnie and her two daughters, Calli Boullosa Hern, and Pastry Chef, Sage Spicuzza operate the business.

Honestly I wasn't impressed. Not that the place isn't nice, it just wasn't for me. I think the ambiance is nice and the people were friendly but the food for me was just OK. I had a Chicken Avacdo and ranch sandwich and an apple turnover. Both to me could have used more flavor. Again this review is not saying it's a bad place, just saying, I've had better. I do however thank them for their service and providing me with lunch.

What a gem! We just wanted to find a breakfast place on our way out of town. This small charming store front was across from a busy farmer’s market. They have a drink menu posted and the selection of bakery items in the displays. We requested a breakfast menu from the cashier. Everything was amazing! We ordered a warmed almond pastry, warmed cinnamon roll, egg and bacon croissant sandwich and French toast. The decor was elegant and they kept the busy shop very clean!

Visited from out of town and this was my favorite cafe in the area! Very impressive selection of coffee, desserts and pastries. Everything was absolutely delicious! The cafe itself has a beautiful interior. It's a great place to relax, read or chat with a friend while enjoying a cup of coffee. I can't wait to visit here again. I would highly recommend this to everyone.
