New ownership and immediate changes... We have been long time regulars of Shiraz, and were so surprised that the restaurant is now under new ownership. We are so happy for the previous owners to be able to retire, but we are sad that we won't be able to see them anymore AND our favorite items have been removed from the menu! No more alcohol either. We would get a bottle of wine with dinner and loved the Disaronno chicken and beef Moussaka, all of which are now gone. Since that is what were were craving, we ended up leaving. It's not going to be the same.
Also - ordering takeout for lunch a month

Food was good. We ordered kobideh kabobs. They tasted good, flavorful and juicy. And that's it.
Anyone can make decent kabobs but that's just half the story of a Mediterranean cuisine. The other half is about presentation, service and giving the customer a good experience. They have a big room for improvement in this area. Food was served in a really plain manner. No complimentary bread or cheese, no Mediterranean sauce to go with your food. When we asked for sauce they could only provide us with bottle of hot sauce (tapatio) and ketchup! No tahini, or any sort of white sauce.

We love this place, it is one of our go-to favorites. They are extremely consistent with the food, which is really important for us because we have some small picky eaters at home.
We order take-home from them most of the time these days, and its still good by the time it gets home. Would definitely recommend this place to others!

One of my favorite Persian restaurants! The rice and potatoes are amazing. So is the chicken kabob. Not sure why they aren't busy all the time because their food is one of the best in the area. Perhaps they should invest in advertising? Also, please add shrimp kabobs to the menu! Literally every other Persian restaurant has this and it is a reason why I have to order elsewhere since shrimp kabobs are my fave. Glad to see them still in business through Pandemic. It seems to be a family owned business and they are nice people

We got the chicken wrap, falafel wrap, and the chicken platter to go. The chicken in the chicken platter was surprising juicy; however the chicken in the wrap was a lot more dry. Wish the wrap had some sauce in it other than the tzatziki it came with.
The platter came with a generous amount of Greek salad and pita. I was really impressed!
I really enjoyed both the fries and the Greek potatoes too!
If you love Mediterranean food I definitely recommend this place.

They are open for take out but not dine in due to pandemic.
I cannot believe I have not written a review for this restaurant because we have been getting food from here for the past 3 years. They have fabulous food. Usually we get take out but we have dined in at least once. They seem to attract a good lunch crowd (when we used to be able to dine in at restaurants). We have always seemed to get takeout dinners from them.
Recently we had a craving for Shiraz so we called up and were thrilled they were taking takeout orders (and were not closed). My husband and I both order the gyro platters

I'm going to be as fair as possible to this restaurant.
It owns by a Persian gentleman and he actually manage and runs the whole show. ( for a Persian restaurant it's a very good sign!!!, trust me).
I did ordered Mirza Ghasemi and Salad Shirazi for my appetizer ( YES, we order two appetizers, it's Persian style, Don't ask!!!!.lool).
Mirza ghasemi was not even close to what I do remember as my Grandma use to make , very little or no egg , no garlic and technically smashed eggplant.
Salad shirazi was awesome and right on point, the olive oil was so good and everything in that

Man I don't even know where to start. I've had this on my list to try for a while now.
First, it took forever to be seated even though there were open tables. Then it took a pretty decent amount of time for a waiter to come by for our drink order.
In looking at the menu, they are all over the board. I'm a pretty firm believer that the simpler the better. The prices were pretty steep for lunch. I really wanted a lunch portion of shrimp scampi but they didn't offer that option so I went with the gyro plate.
I asked for feta and was told it came with it. It didn

Went around opening time. Quiet atmosphere and relaxing.
The gentleman that seated us and took our order was very nice and he checked up on us just the right amount of times. Not to many and not too few.
The falafel was highly recommended to me by someone so i came to try it. They weren't lying. It was really good! The potatoes were amazing and i liked the tzatziki sauce. It was more tart than the sauce at my usual place. Had some of the sauteed veggies and those were tasty as well.
I recommend this place. I'll be coming back to try the other menu items.

On a Friday afternoon, I went to this place for a quick lunch. Since its right next to Publix shopping strip, there is ample parking space.
After looking at my choices, I narrowed it down to their grilled chicken or a "half pound" burger!! My server suggested to go with burger, since the chicken would take a lot longer to be cooked. (Yeah right! Chicken takes less time to cook than beef). I said OK, and immediately fell into day dreaming about my hot, heavy, juicy, dripping, chargrilled "half pound" burger. I was planning that I will get rid of bun and will eat just the patty
