I love this place. Every since my family started going a couple years ago it quickly became a staple restaurant for us. Any family dinner we always need to come here and eat any delicious arepa or cachapas. Need to try their Venezuelan sampler and chocolate mousse. If this place is on your list you need to come here immediately and if its not then it needs to be.

Great local Venezuelan Cafe. We went out on a limb and tried this place and it was a gem. Small, intimate and definitely authentic. Service was fast, prices were reasonable and the food was terrific. The hot sauce and tartar style sauce were delicious.
We found a new local gem.

Went here for lunch on Saturday. Food was good, and desite there being a large party, we were waited on immediately and received our food in a fairly timely manner given the other party of about 10. We also enjoyed the live music. We liked the place so much that we decided to come back for dinner to try the soup that seemed to be popular among the large lunch group. After we were seated, it took 20 minutes to be spoken to again and another 5 to get a coffee and water. We almost left. The food came out quickly, but the soup was mediocre, and the beans of another entree were lukewarm. New customer

The hospitality is great and so is the food. The art work is also a delight to the eyes. We had the capacha con queso which was certainly our best choice! We also got the papelon con limon , vegan empanadas and the vegetarian sandwich. would definitely go back to try out more of their dishes.

Stopped here for lunch today and it was amazing. First off, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I ordered an Arepa and it was perfect. Hot and fresh, just the right amount of filling, and you can choose your own sauce to spice it up or not. Fantastic gluten-free options if you have limitations

This restaurant truly is amazing! If you haven't tried Venezuelan food before, then give them a go, they will not disappoint. Great ambiance, awesome service, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I had the Cachapa con Pernil, which is the pork in the corn pancake with a side of plantains and it was delicious. Thank you for accommodating our large group. We had a fantastic time eating and learning about Venezuelan food.

To be this far North and have something so authentic! Friendly staff, great menu variety, never a wait. I love that of all the Venezuelan food spots this one actually functions like a restaurant. Great atmosphere, will keep coming back to this spot for sure.

Very nice place to pick up or eat in. I ordered the arroz con pollo and the empanada trio to go. The food was very tasty. Especially the rice which was seasoned well with the chicken. The tree flavored empanadas came with a good little dipping sauce as well which was good. It was my first time trying Venezuelan food and I will definitely be back!

This place was so yummy at a great price point. Staff was very friendly and you can tell the food is made with love. Met the owner while eating. Will definitely return.
This is the plantain dish that they offer. Can’t remember the name.

Just dropped $85 (not counting tip) on Uber eats delivery from here because pics and reviews looked so yummy, but our dishes were not so yummy. Got the parrillada, bistec caballo, Venezuelan sampler, and cachapa pernil. I hate to say it, I really wanted to love this and would've been happy if we'd even liked it, but...All the meats were dry, overcooked, and flavorless, except the pork in the cachapa. Worst chorizo ever, although to be fair, it might have been good hours ago before it was over cooked then stuck under a heat lamp for the morning. The tostones were hard as hockey pucks and

STILL OPEN AND FANTASTIC!! (a reviewer said it was closed)
This place has wonderful ambiance, service and food!! If you love to taste authentic food from around the world, you must put this place on your list to visit. I had the Venezuelan sampler and the Cachapa con Pernil. The savory pork was the best I’ve ever had. The guayanés cheese is so unique and delicious! I promise, you’ll love it! I really wanted to like this place because I love arepas but I ended up being super disappointed. Our server was nice but the service was very slow. We had the tequenos appetizer which was good, they were fried cheese sticks with a garlic dipping sauce. For lunch we ordered the ham and cheese arepa and the cachapa con pernil. These were decent, kind of lacking in flavor. The main problem was that I ordered cheese fries as my side and there was very visible mold on the cheese. They brought me new cheese fries but I wasn't comfortable eating them. I also ordered the Frescolita drink which was

Always looking for gluten free/vegan options around work and home, so I went to Arepita Cafe today for lunch.

Very nice staff. I saw they had Yuca on the menu so I asked to sub those for fries with my eggplant arepa. I really wanted yuca fries and was perfectly fine paying the $1.50 upcharge.

I get back to work to eat my lunch and saw I had 3 fries. What the heck

Everything is tasty.

I've had my eye on Arepita Cafe for a while, and finally tried it yesterday for First Taste Friday! It's located in a shopping center with plenty of free parking. It's a bit hidden, so you'd have to rely on your GPS to take you there.

I came by for a late lunch and they weren't busy. There were two other diners. Masks are required, social distancing is encouraged, and sanitizer is provided. They're open for dine in and have plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. I was immediately greeted by a friendly gentleman when I walked in. I let him know I wanted to place an

My, no our experience here was wonderful!!! Food was great and service was excellent. I don't think Randy the owner has ever met a stranger. From the time you enter and the time you are seated you are made to feel so very welcome. I'm from St. Louis , it's been a couple years since the last time we've been here. Randy the owner remembered us! We were made to feel special the first time we were here. This time felt like we were having dinner at mom's house. You know the feeling, everything is just right served up with a lot of attentiveness and love, Good conversation and lots of laughs. The special

They've hiked the prices vs what's on the online menu, and call to tell you that when you acknowledge you're ordering of the online menu. They're also refusing to make the arepita duo meal - even though they're still making arepas. One of my items was supposed to be a kids menu item, no meal/fries. They instead chose to make it an adult version, and charge for a full meal.

TL;DR: Your ticket is sure to be a surprise right now. Go somewhere else if you don't want to be ripped off while they try and recoup revenue loss from the pandemic in the shadiest of ways.

Dios mio! This food is incredible. My wife is Venezuelan, and the memories, just from reading the menu, came flooding back for her. Speaking with our waitress, also Venezuela, was an informative and happy addition. But then came the food... astounding. The cook is authentico, and you can tell. The flavors were all there. The selection was beyond compare, and the meal was on point!

Say hello to the owner Randy. He'll surely stop by your table to say hi and chat a bit.

Going back again. And again. And again.

Decided to take a chance on a Google search with this place and SO glad we did! We started to get tired of going to the same restaurants near us so we drove up about 20 mins to John's Creek with our 4-yr old daughter, not knowing what to expect.

What a delightful experience from start to finish. The service was awesome - all the staff were super friendly and welcoming. We knew going in we were gonna order cachapas (I got steak, he got shredded chicken) but we also decided to order an appetizer empanada trio and our daughter got the kids steak bites and rice. It was all just delicious.

When a friend suggested we check out this hidden Venezuelan gem the other day, I was pretty excited. I didn't even have to look at the menu to know what I wanted - arepas! I love the little suckers, and hardly ever get the chance to have them.

However, as soon as we arrived (and saw the rainbow sticker in the window, yay pride!) I decided to change it up a little. I was fascinated by the description of the cachapas con pollo mechado. I'd never had cachapas before, but essentially they're a fried pancake type deal made of cornmeal, with a few corn nuggets in there for texture. Y

The arepas (smaller with smaller corn pieces) and cachapas (bigger and sweeter) are two things you must try. The cachapas was amazing! Get it! The grilled steak was seriously yummy! Maybe it's bc I haven't had Venezuelan food before...

It's sort of like a quesadilla but is made with corn-like tortillas. It's not the traditional corn tortillas you're thinking about either. The corn's more refined and has a different texture. Regardless of the outside, the inside was stuffed with a hardy amt of steak and avocados. :)
