Our bicycle mechanic Thomas Tammen or AKA "Doc Tom", is a college graduate from Clemson University of S.C. with a degree in engineering. He has been a bicycle mechanic for over 40 years and is fully knowledgeable about everything to do with a bicycle and your needs. This single speed beach cruiser is comfortable and tough to stand up to the rigors of the beach.
We carry new Bic Surfboards and also have used surfboards for sale at times. We also rent and repair surfboards. We have all the sizes from shortboards to longboards for beginners. We have accessories like wax, fins, track pads, leashes and repairing products for your board. We carry sit on top Ocean Kayaks and Bic Kayaks both new and used.
We have the biggest selection of sandals in the area, over 10,000 pair in stock. I've been there a couple times its a mom and pop operation they do know what there doing but it's like and old school customer service you bring aditude they will Match it be you have to start out nice to get respect in today's world its the opposite trying going into an old motorcycle shop and see how your treated...lol

I brought my bike to the bike doctor in Cherry Grove of NMB. I had been riding it when I suddenly heard a pop. Then my tire began to wobble. It turns out it needed new spokes. I also asked them to adjust the brake as it wasn't changing gears. Then I remembered that my handlebar grip needed repair. The lady at the counter helped me to pick out some new grips and said the repairman would be in on Thursday. So I left the bike there and all the repairs were made on Thursday like she said. I'm very happy with the repairs and would definately recommend this business to others. Thank you Bike DR!

I took my bike there to have the tires fixed. One was the other was never fixed I’ve taken it back 4 times. So I called to take it a fifth time. The lady on the phone was rude. I meet the owner she was okay but her employees are awful. They have one employee she will let you know straight up she could care less.

The blond headed lady was extremely rude, I only came in to the store to get a part for a bicycle seat. She would not fix the seat for me she would only sell me the part. Which was fine with me. (She was only interested in selling me the part instead of helping me fix it).. After her telling me it would be $8 dollars for the part take it to the counter and pay for it. (Her Words) after hearing the negative talk out of her, I did not want to browse the store for more things..

The worst and I mean worst owner/customer relationship I have ever witnessed in my 55 years of life!! The owner was rude and hateful, throwing stuff across the counter and then when my husband questioned her about her behavior, her response was short staff and trying to help a drug addict get into rehab. My personal opinion, with her attitude, she will never have any decent help!! She needs lots of mental help herself!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE AT ALL!!!!

We recently purchased a home in Tidewater Golf Plantation and had a bike that hadn't been used in over 20 years. I stopped by The Bike Doctor and had the distinct pleasure of meeting with the Owner/Kelly and her colleague/Tom - who happens to handle all of the bike repairs. My bike was totally updated within 75 minutes and ready exactly when Kelly said to come back...new tires, tubes, pedals, basket, cleaned/oiled up, etc. We plan to rent our place in Tidewater and will definitely be referring all of our renters to The Bike Doctor.
