Services
Jim and Dana re-located to the Myrtle Beach area a little over 5 years ago. Their love for biking adventures and both being entrepreneurs is what lead them to discover a need in the area for a local independent owned bike shop that was different than your normal shop. Dana's passion and career in marketing and sales along with Jim's out of the box thinking was a perfect match.
Whether your bike is in need of a full overhaul or just a few minor repairs, our Certified Trek and Shimano T.E.C. professional certified technicians are trained to diagnose and service all bicycle makes and models. At Pee Dee Bicycle we offer a variety of tune-up packages as well as la carte options designed to keep your bike ready to ride.
We think it's best to split the whole range into two categories: Hardtails and full suspension and then go from there. Once you've chosen one of the two categories you can refine it to the type of riding you want to do: cross-country, trail or downhill. With those two category types chosen you'll be left with a much smaller pool of Trek models to consider.
Want to get a fair price on your old bike but don't want to deal with the hassle of listing it online? We've partnered with Bicycle Blue Book, an online service that determines market value for used bikes, to help you get money for your old bike in the fastest, most convenient way possible. Stop by our shop and take advantage of our trade-in program and receive an in-store credit toward the purchase of a new bike.
We offer this clinic 4 times a year. Join us for a free introductory class on how to keep your bike in working condition. The clinic covers basic repairs, preventative maintenance, and how to adjust your cables to ensure good shifting and braking! In an effort to ensure there is enough staff and supplies for a great clinic, we do ask those planning to attend to please RSVP no less than 24 hours in advance.

I live in North Myrtle Beach and there are several bike stores that I pass before getting to Pee Dee Bicycles. Because of their service, quality products and fair pricing, I purchased a bike and car carrier and had another bike tuned up. I'm ecstatic with each interaction. Trust me, if service and knowledge are important to you, make the drive to Pee Dee Bicycle shop.

Great local bike shop here! Patrick is the best. He remembered us from a month and a half ago even though we were just in briefly that day. Today we stopped in to see if they had any of the bikes we were looking for in stock for our son. They had the exact one he wanted in stock! After being told in May that we could order one and expect it around October, this was a big, very good, surprise! Patrick was super friendly and helpful and told us about a local bike team and introduced us to the head coach. He also made sure the bike was set up just right and let us know some good accessories to buy

Terrific experience buying my first bike in retirement. Theresa was very knowledgeable, patient and accommodating. She went above and beyond to make sure that all my concerns were addressed and that the bike I purchased was the best one to fit my needs. I would highly recommend Pee Dee Bikes and their excellent salesperson Theresa.

They fixed a height problem I was having with the handelbars on my Diamondback bike. Raised bars about 4" - riding is much easier on my back now. Installed a good quality mirror. Mechanic was very knowledgeable with Bicycles. They do top notch work 👌. Reasonably and people you can trust, highly recommend!

I was looking all over for a bicycle (any bicycle, I just wanted to be outside). Everyplace was sold out from Charleston to Florence. I called Pee Dee's and they immediately picked up. I was told a bike was just built that would be good for me (based on my height & want for a casual bike that's good from dirt roads to pavement).
I drove from an hour and a half and took it for a test ride. The bike is a Jamis Citizen 1 Step-Thru with EZ-Fire shifting. They did a few pre-inspections and ensured I was good to go with a helmet and all. They walked me through the PM's for 25 hour plus making sure I

My fiance and I went in to buy bikes, I hadn't been on a bike in a number of years. The whole process was great, we felt like we were being shown the right bikes for our needs and everything was explained in a way that made sense. After we bought the bikes the owner delivered them to us at home later that day. It's been a couple of months and the bikes are exactly what were told they would be- great quality, great staff, great experience over all.

Overall, I've had good experiences here. Employees seem friendly and Gary, the bike tech, took lots of time answering my many questions when I recently brought my bike in for a tune up. He also showed me various products like chain lubes, brake pads, and other things that I had questions about without being pushy about trying to sell them to me.
A basic bike tune on a 26 inch mountain bike is $59.99 plus tax and they have all the stuff here you'd expect to find in a mom and pop bike store.
One cool thing they do is they text you when your bike is ready to be picked up and they have

They were fantastic! I was staying in the area on vacation and my rear derailleur and derailleur hanger broke off my bike. They had the parts in stock, and had it repaired within two days. I got a text when it was ready. Very knowledgeable and great customer service. The price for the repair was very reasonable.

I brought my MTB to Myrtle Beach for a week worth of riding, and ended up having a crazy mechanical within the 1st mile of riding. This happened on a Sunday Morning, and this awesome Trek Bike Shop is open on Sundays. I brought my bike in, and they worked on my bike while I waited. They charged a very reasonable price and also had the part in stock, and had me out the door in no time. I was able to rack up almost 150 miles that week, but if it wasn't for them, it would have been less than a mile.
