Services
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation is a series of magnetic pulses that stimulate the brain. It has been cleared by the FDA for the treatment of MDD (Major Depressive Disorder) and is free from common antidepressant side effects. Telepsychiatry appointments are available on a limited basis to existing patients only, for whom traveling to our office presents a hardship.
St. John Mental Health Clinic of Houston has used TMS in the fight against treatment-resistant depression since 2013. Since then, a response rate of 76% and a remission rate of 58% of the patient population was observed. This means that more than three-quarters of their patients cut their symptoms of depression in half, and almost two-thirds were symptom-free after completing a full course of TMS treatment.

Qb Test is an FDA cleared and widely used objective test that measures a patient's activity, attention, and impulsivity. It is a computer-based test that combines attention measures with an activity analysis based on a motion tracking system. The test results are instantly analyzed and presented in a report that compares your results with a group of people of the same age and gender who do not have ADHD.

In my experience I wasted thousands to see doctor St. John. In my opinion she did nothing to help me. I am now seeing a new doctor and within a week I am better. Please if you care about your mental health do not see this doctor. I do not want anyone to experience what I experienced with this doctor. She also keeps taking down my reviews!

Ive seen Dr St John for over 15 years. She is very knowledgeable, professional and compassionate. She also allows for her patients to be very involved in their own mental health care by giving her patients the opportunity to make their own decisions about treatment options. I have always been treated with respect by her and her staff. Excellent quality of service.

Not accepting new patients. And they don't really care that you know they don't need your business in the future either. Such a popular doctor apparently that the staff doesn't even bother at all. I called to inquire about becoming a new patient. A "friendly" Susan said they weren't accepting new patients and then while I was speaking hung up on me. Then I called back to see if there was anyone they could recommend and I was told to check with my insurance and hung up on again. I'm cash pay but thanks for your time. I spent weeks, maybe months trying to find a doctor and that would listen not just

I've been a patient of Dr. St. John for probably seven years. I think very highly of her (as well as her office/support staff). I was diagnosed with another serious illness last year, and I needed extra psychiatric help which Liz (PA) was able to provide (the next day) until I could get in to see Dr. St. John. I trust Dr. St. John's judgment 100%. I understand other patients have experienced issues getting in to see her, but that's because she is such an excellent doctor. I highly recommend her.

Dr Martha St.John is very professional and is very efficient. I have been to another Psychiatrist who tried to make money out of my illness. But she is reasonably priced and made me feel like having MDD is no big deal.
She is very straight forward in her approach. She yawns a lot during the session but never mistake that as lack of her interest. She is duly noting down everything you say and even after an year she remembers what I mentioned in my first session with her. I once forgot to carry my medication while on a vacation and I called her office during late hours and left a voice mail. they

I've been a patient of Dr. St John for over three years. Today I was 12 minutes late to my appointment with her physicians assistant after driving over an hour to get to there. The office staff turned me away. Considering this and the number of times during the past few years I have waited much longer to be seen, I will not be returning.

Dr. St John is wonderful, I enjoy talking to her and she has helped me so much in my mental health journey. She discusses things with you, doesn't throw medicine at you and goes over all your options. I understand people are complaining about how long it takes to get an appointment but her specialty is in high demand with low supply of doctors these days, I had called several before her that either weren't accepting new patients or couldn't get me in for months - it is the nature of the beast with her specialty it has nothing to do with her skills and help as a professional.

She is a good listener and has an easy conversational manner about her. She also stays up to date on the research going on with the medications she prescribes. She is the first psychiatrist to give me a really good alternative to the high price of my medication and after investigating it today I just realized I'm going to save 75% on my medication. I would definitely recommend her.

I have been seeing Martha since 2006. I Have seen many doctors and clinics and she has been the best ever. Great listener, up to day on science and really cares about your well being. She did stop taking my insurance, but I love her so much, I am still going to see her twice a year and pay the $125 office visit. My mental well being is worth it to see her and not have to find another doctor on Katy side of town.

Martha St. John is first Psychiatrist that I have seen after my PCP would not change my medications. Martha was very helpful. During the first appointment I felt that she took her time to thoroughly gather a large amount of information regarding my conditions to make practical suggestions for treatment. She spent a great deal of time with me and I truly appreciated that. She has been very patient with me by continuing to try different medications until one finally worked. I would recommend her to anyone in need of a Psychiatrist.
