Our Four C's of Diamonds guide can help you decide on the most important factors when shopping for a diamond. The word carat derives from the word carob, a Mediterranean seed, which has an extremely consistent weight for measuring. The greater the carat weight, the rarer, and more valuable the diamond becomes.
Some people want to buy the biggest diamond possible. Is this always the right choice? The larger the diamond, chances are the more inclusions it likely has, and because it's larger, these inclusions are typically even more visible than on a smaller diamond. But most importantly, if the diamond cut isn't proportioned correctly, it won't return the maximum amount of light through the top of the diamond.

Onwer/ staff were great, I went in on Wednesday looking for something to be created for a special occasion. John knew showed me some samples and knew exactly what I wanted. Had it ready for me Friday morning. Was exactly what I wanted, I would definitely recommend his Jewel store. Plan on doing future business with him.

I have been looking for a jeweler to repair my jewelry that has been sitting around for a while so my friend referred me to her jeweler. It's been my 3rd visit and I had to let everyone know about this hidden gem in Lyndhurst.
I have to say when you step into the store it's not like your ordinary jewelry store. You are free to walk around and take your time to view what is on display. His selection of jewelry are tasteful and unique. While I was there, I picked up a necklace for my daughter and also pick up a few pieces for myself. His prices are very reasonable.
