This shop is cute and all, and clearly, the bakers have some talent, but the pricing for their itty-bitty pastries is ridiculous! FOUR DOLLARS!!! for a tiny little two-bite eclair? Please. Tiny little crumb cakes with one half the size of the other for another $4. $3.75 for a miniscule bread pudding that's sunken in the middle? $4 for the lonely snickerdoodle cookie that's also burnt on the bottom? People, you make money in a bakery from volume sales, not gouging those who make their way to your shop for a coffee and a pastry. The coffee BTW, was horrendus. I ordered a cappuccino with an extra

Great shop. Great baked goods and coffee. Less than stellar customer service experience. See picture of my shirt. The egg sandwich practically exploded on first bite, spewing all over my t-shirt. Not having a change of clothes, I was forced to buy a shirt from the shop itself. $25. I asked about the possibility of getting the shirt for free, but was told it wasn't possible. And that was disappointing. As I've said, it's a great little place. But this trip there was not a great experience, having to buy a $25 t-shirt because mine was sticky with egg.

I love this little bakery. They have some of the best pastries in the area. Their chocolate croissants are to die for! We have ordered several celebration cakes from them and each one is always as amazing as the last! We’ve kind of eaten our fair share of cakes from them this past year, lol, no regrets!! I highly recommend this shop!

This bakery is my favorite spot in all of the Hudson Valley for a pastry. Croissants are as equally delicious as those you would find in a Patisserie in Paris. The staff is warm and welcoming. There isn’t a lot of seating but takeaway is available. Also, they sell sorbets and ice cream by the pints for hot days. The Flour Shop has been the best addition in Newburgh.

Really enjoyed this place and the professional baker on premise went out of her way to create a special birthday cake for my father. The family recipe was lost so she researched the recipe for a graham cracker nut cake and came up with her own. My father genuinely enjoyed it and the presentation was awesome. The actual cake was a little dry compared to what I remember of my grandmothers but the dark chocolate icing was to die for. Thank you for the amazing memories.

I ordered a custom birthday cake with Newburgh Flour Shop before a visit to Beacon and had an all around fantastic experience with Nicolette and Kristina. They were quick to respond, offered additional options for the cake as they were available, and delivered on a beautiful (and delicious!) cake.
Excited to try a bacon egg and cheese here the next time we’re in town 🤤 they looked magical while we were picking up the cake with some coffees.

Stopped here for coffee and breakfast while visiting Newburgh on vacation. Service was quick and pleasant. Bacon/egg/cheese sandwich & scones were FANTASTIC. Coffee was nice and strong. Atmosphere was cozy, crisp & clean. Huge selection of really great looking baked goods. It’s not the cheapest prices but you get what you pay for.
