Grove Winery specializes in growing and crafting exceptional European-style wines. The main estate vineyards, winery, event facilities and tasting room are located just 7 miles northeast of the Greensboro city limits in the the federally recognized Haw River Valley wine country located between the Triad or Triangle.
The sloping, mineral-rich estate vineyards feature wine grapes that thrive in this microclimate like Cabernet Sauvignon, Nebbiolo, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Sangiovese, Chardonnay, etc. Grapes are hand harvested and used for a limited production of 3000 cases of premium wine each year. If you'd like to be updated on events going on at the Grove, please subscribe to our email list.

Services
Grove is recognized as one of the most awarded wineries and estate vineyards on the East Coast. European grapes are dry farmed and used for a limited production of about 3100 cases of premium wine each year. We grow more than 80% of the grapes we use each year here at our estate vineyards which were first planted in 2002.
Great wines can only come from great fruit. To grow this fruit we currently own two properties: The estate vineyard at the Grove Winery in Guilford County and Vista Ridge Vineyards. We also work with and source grapes from some of the leading local viticulturalists (fancy word for grape farmers) at places like Lenox Castle, B&S Vineyards and Storrs Vineyards.
The US Postal Service will not ship liquids. All wine orders must be shipped UPS/Fedex. Please select that shipping option if wine is included in your order. Proof of age is required. Wine ships most efficiently in 2, 4, 6 and 12 bottle packages. Wine cannot be shipped by Grove out of the United States or to the states of AK, AL, AR, KY, MD, NH, NM, NY, OK, PA, RI, SD, TN, TX and UT.
When you "Buy Local" with NC grown wine, you are supporting a wide-portion of the NC economy. Your purchase supports agricultural, manufacturing, distribution and retail jobs and is a huge contributer to the local tax base. Buying local wine is also the green choice.

We were looking for attractions near our Inn in Gibsonville and plugged in their address into our GPS (it is a little bit out there). We are familiar with some of the Yadkin Valley wineries but have never been to one in this part of NC before. My wife and I did tastings and chatted with the server (perhaps a co-owner as well?). We were pleasantly surprised that they had won so many awards. We enjoyed the wines and bought three bottles to take with us. I don't recall seeing their wines in our local wine shops but will keep an eye out for them.

The BlackBerry and Niagara wines are my personal favorites! Standing at the bar only when inside. All the seating is outside. Depending on where you sit, the sun can be harsh. DO BRING your bug spray! You WILL HAVE mosquito bites if you don't! TRUST and BELIEVE ME ON THIS!!! Otherwise, a great venue for outdoor music and comedy events which are often held--good weather permitting. These events are great ways to enjoy the wines and beer available for sale. Friendly and helpful staff and management that make you feel at home.

Fun atmosphere! It was my husband and I first time visiting. We will definitely go back! The wine was lovely and very affordable. We bought the black berry wine. The live band was great . "The Retro band'. Kids were playing, people were dancing. It made my heart smile to people of all races laughing together and having great time. This world needs more of that! Only complaint is...needs more rest rooms. Overall great experience.

I proposed to my girlfriend at Grove Winery’s Wine & Song w/ YARN. Not only did the venue coordinate to help me with my plans, they went above and beyond to make the evening more special than we could have ever imagined. The wine is delicious; the staff invested, knowledgeable and friendly; the setting utterly picturesque...We will definitely be revisiting soon to create more memories!

I just moved to the area, and was taking a drive up to VA when I noticed their sign on the highway, and made note for the return trip. When I arrived there was only the employee, Martin, in the tasting room. One gal was outside enjoying a glass by the pond with her young daughters.
I had a six wine tasting (only $7) and a nice chat with Martin. I ended up bringing two of the bottles I tasted home, the Haw River White, a nice crisp blend of Chardonnay and Chantelle, and a 2017 Carmenere, which I though had an excellent mid-palate mouth feel. I look forward to enjoying soon with an appropriate

Everything about my experience at Grove Winery was amazing. It is truly a gem. The tasting was truly an exemplary experience, Will gave us great insight and was caring and mindful as we went through the tasting. The Cab Sav was my favorite, but each wine we tasted bolstered new and exciting flavors. Great service. Great wine. Great time.

It's right around the corner from me and it's a pleasure to go and listen to music out on the lawn and love the food trucks for a afternoon of relaxing fun and nature! And you will usually run into someone you haven't seen in a while. And some will make wonderful new friends! Oh and the wine is superb.

Such a pretty property with a relaxing sitting space next to a pond. The wines they have are diverse and the staff is pationate about each of their product and love to tell you about them. I always enjoy coming out with friends and getting a bottle. There are apt of choices and the wines are reasonably priced. It is worth driving out and spending some time talking to them and then having an afternoon with a chilled bottle.

Came out here for their monthly food truck festival called the NC Food Rodeo. The venue was very nice with plenty of parking close by. There was a great selection of food trucks (Haitian, Korean, Mediterranean, etc.), and even live music.
Although I didn't buy any, I noticed they had a large variety of wines for really good prices. Was a nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon and I'll definitely be back to try some wines!

I really like Grove Winery! They have a ton of great outdoor space next to a pretty lake. The perfect place to go in the Spring/Summer, they have food truck rodeos often. You can grab some dinner, a glass of wine, and sit by the lake. My favorite wine is their Traminette , it has a touch of sweetness and some great flavor. Haw River Valley is also great if you are a white wine drinker. The prices are also super reasonable to grab a bottle or two. Highly recommend checking them out this Spring/Summer!

There are a couple of great vineyards in a close drive to the Triad and this is one of them. Located just northwest of Greensboro, out in the country, Grove serves a wide selection of wines from German style wines like the trocken as well as traditional wines like merlot and chardonnay and some scuppernog varieties. Prices are reasonable and many of the grapes are grown on site. My wife and I like to buy a bottle and go sit by the lake, which also allows fishing. I haven't had a bad wine here but the trocken is my favorite. Tastings are a great way to sample, but the best deal is buying

Grove Winery was named "Best Vineyard in the Triad" this past year, and it's easy to see why as they clearly take pride in both producing quality wine and providing excellent customer service.
The winery itself is small and located a few miles north of Burlington. As seems to be the case with most NC wineries, this one is essentially located in the middle of nowhere. A tour was not included in the tasting, but we were informed that the Grove Winery owners/winemakers own two properties from which they primarily source their grapes but that they also source grapes from a handful
