Services
Jim Wirsching-Neuser has been brewing beer for the past 20 years. In 2001 while planning their wedding, CJ suggested that they make their own Pear wine to toast with. Since then they have perfected their winemaking and hope to share the joys of wine with you! They live in Belgium, WI just north of Port Washington with their 4 legged kids; Vino and Cabernet and a 31 year old African Grey parrot named Sarge.
Our suppliers search the world for the best wine grape juices they can find. Many of our wines are award winning and are produced and bottled in Port Washington, Wisconsin. Our Sangiovese, Pinto Grigio and Barolo juices come from Italy. Australia supplies us with a wonderful Cabernet and Shiraz wines which are specifically blended to create an amazing wine experience.
The Signature Variety of Argentina. It's robust and fruity with good structure and body with lush red and black berry flavors and a touch of spice. When you get to know CJ and Jim you will know how much they support the Military. AMCAN was brought out on Veterans Day 2009 and the name stands for each of the 5 branches of service: Army (first of course), Marines, Coast Guard, Air Force and Navy.
An uplifting floral bouquet, perfect marriage of sweet fruit and a touch sweetness with a well balanced acid and slightly dry finish. Off-dry white wine Unoaked Medium body. Great to serve with lightly spiced Asian foods. Lush, golden and rich buttery bouquet with flavors of tropic fruits, vanilla and oak with a smooth round mouth-feel.
We ferment the varietal grape and then add the fruit juice to sweeten and soften the flavor. A slightly lower alcohol wine for all occasion and all tastes. The aroma and flavors of freshly-picked, ripe raspberries merge with the lush richness of berries and fruit that naturally burst from the Merlot grape.

A group of friends and I headed to Vines To Cellar for a wine tasting after seeing the business on Groupon about a year ago. Let me tell you - stopping into this winery was one of the best ideas we made! This was my first time in Port Washington, and the area is very cute. The winery is located very close (literally down the street) from the lakefront here which was nice. Most of the people from my group are from the Oak Creek area but we all agreed that this place is worth the drive up! We didn't have the opportunity to meet the owners (although I spoke with one of them over the phone and

We've been here several times and have always had an amazing experience.. so much so with a private winemaking lessons we gave it as a gift and I would suggest doing this for others. We will soon be bottling our latest batch of wine to the total of over 90 bottles of wine with these great people..
They were a great surprise on a sleepy little Street!

While visiting family in Grafton, WI, my wife and I decided to take a Day Trip to Port Washington. First stop was Vine to Cellar. Best choice of the day! Not only was the wine very good, the owners were just so warm and welcoming. Tastings minimal cost and you keep your glass. I am sure, next time back in WI, we will plan another stop for some great wine and fun conversation!

Had a wonderful experience meeting owners CJ and Jim on a Saturday. Just moved to down and discovered this gem that offers tastings, gift items, events, and one of the best wine offerings you will see. If you are headed to downtown Port Washington, this quaint winery is worth the trip.

We stopped in without any type of reservation and were met by the gracious owners/host and hostess. Both so friendly and upbeat, they made us feel so at home and welcome. My wife and I enjoyed a delicious tasting of 5 wines a piece for $5, great deal. They have over 30 wines to choose from.
We will defiantly be back for more and even head back to make are own wine!
Thanks again

I'm not a wine connoisseur nor I guess I didn't look like it either because I was pretty much snubbed the first 20min when I walked in. But I know what I like. And Ive been here before with much better attentiveness. I do like a few of their fruit wines and other concoctions. Try the strawberry patch then pomegranate zing. Style of Kyle also a fave.

We've been here a few times and absolutely love it. Very friendly, polite puppy greets you at the door. Try the $5 tasting package...5 wines and you get to keep the glass with the company logo. I recommend the cherry bounce, Wisconsin wildberry, jamming blackberry but there are many other great ones!

Wine tenders were unfamiliar with the wines they were serving, and the regions they came from. Wine selection is geared largely toward fruit wines. The glass they used to serve me is for port wine, not white or red wine. They did not wash it before they put it in a bag and sent me home with it. They should have given me a new one and washed the one I used.

I was hoping this would turn out better than it did. If your new to wine, this could be a fun and different experience. Otherwise, best to spend your money on a nice bottle from the supermarket and stay home.

The wine is good, a good selection, and they have cool accessories to buy, however the service was lacking - the server would disappear between tastings for about 5 minutes-

Cool little small town wine store. The owner makes his own wine and there are a lot of favors to choose from. Lots of quirky decor. You can even make specialized wine bottle labels at this store

Fun, small art deco styled winery. There are cool artist installation everywhere you look. The wines are kind of on the light side (if you're into full body reds) but overall drinkable reds. A unique plus that this winery had classes that will teach you how to make your own custome blend at home (you may have to purchase the kit they sell). Very down to earth place and staff (knowable about the wines and local events).
Big bonus...pets are allowed (with leash).

This is a winery my husband and I definitely plan on visiting again. They had a nice selection of wines that we both liked and their wine tasting price is reasonable. The atmosphere and the employees are very welcoming. They are also very knowledgeable about their wines and wines in general.

Fun winery. Owners are very friendly and not wine snobs. Definitely worth stopping in for a tasting. We purchased 6 bottles and the first one we cracked open after we returned home, had a yellow cork so I think we get half off the next bottle when you bring the yellow cork back. And we will definately make the trip back!

The girlfriend and I decided to take a trip to walk around downtown Port Washington when we walked past this great pace. We went in during the mid-afternoon.

The location has been around for 5 years and used to be an artists studio so they have great artwork on the walls and a huge, artificial tree as you walk in with grape vines hanging off it.

This is a family run business with their dog, Sassy, that is the sweetest dog there is. They selling equipment and kits to make your own wine, wine accessories, and of course, all of the wine they make there. All the wine they sell is reasonably priced

We were in town for the Main Street Fall End of Farmer's Market Fest and after seeing their both decided to stop in. The $5 flight was a fun way to work our way through a bunch of the wines. The one that was remarkable was the Chocolate Port, otherwise there were a lot of fruity wines and sweet wines. We picked up a bottle for later at the hotel, it was a fun place to stop in and visit and the staff was very friendly. Would definitely come back on a future trip.

Such a cute little place. Although, probably not a place for die hard serious wine people, a great day trip for those of us who like wine, small business, and home operations.

They have a $5.00 tasting flight of 5 half glasses and you get a cute little glass to take home. They're good at sweet fruit wines and dessert wines, don't expect too much from their reds. Nice little store, people are very friendly, prices reasonable.

The people working the wine tasting work for store credit. Obviously, they believe in the product and have drank plenty their fair share.

Great way to spend an

The same road trip as my Beanie's review, and another gift certificate for Christmas!
I was definitely surprised when I walked in to Vine to Cellar. I was planning on going in, grabbing a few bottles of wine, and then leaving to go find something to do in Port Washington. The girl working there immediately offered us their wine tasting, $5 for 5 pours. Can't beat that. We had a seat at their wine tasting counter, looked over their list of wines, asked questions, and chose our 5. The girls working never rushed us, they happily answered our questions, and engaged in small talk. A great

Sitting next to the venue for the local farmer's market, this quaint wine store/bar explodes with small-town charm. The smell of wine-making is potent upon entering and still quite memorable months since my last visit (tricky brain). They offer wine-making classes, and from what I calculated, quite a deal on wine if you were willing to make it yourself. Their best-tasting wine is their fruit-juice wines, which I assume wine-enthusiasts probably stay away from. We also like their chocolate dessert wine.

Though I can't say I was blown away by their regular selection, the wine-tasting

As an avid wine lover with over 100 bottles in the cellar, this is a must see/stop when visiting or living in Port Washington, and as a local, one of our favorite places. If you're a "wine snob" who only likes expensive bottles to boast about, or wines with heavy tannin and body, you won't find that here. The wines produced here are small-batch, easily drinkable wines, perfect for everyday consuming with meals and friends, which is exactly how wine should be! They have wines to appeal to any pallet, from dessert wines and very sweet whites, to fruit wines with great nose
