I been here for 2 weeks and got COVID while being hospitalized , I'm in a COVID unit not 1 plate that I've gotten has been hot. So I call the cafeteria and they say the food has been sitting out there the nurses just don't hand it out. They don't care about you just the check they come to work for . Yesterday I asked for pain meds and the nurse kept asking me what I take instead of scanning my wrist band LIKE THEY ARE SUPPOSED TOO AND ACTUALLY SEEING IN THE SYSTEM WHAT I TAKE . I been here too long and have not resolved my problems

A friend of mine was brought there today after an incident that occurred at his job where three of his fingers were cut badly. When he got there they were being very rude and not helping him at all , the nurses had no idea what they were doing and treated him very poorly , he got there in the morning and was in pain for basically the whole day. They were also not allowing anyone not even his wife to be in the room with him so we were forced to be on the phone with him the entire time , Mark was his nurse for the day and he was giving him attitude and giving one us as well just cause we were trying

You will likely be racially profiled here if you go the the emergency room. I was profiled and mishandled during my visit which could have cost me my life. I had to call my specialist for an emergency that this hospital took for granted.
They assume if you're a person of color that you are there for free care bc you don't have insurance. If you come in with heart attack symptoms or something similar you won't get proper emergency response or any respect when the speak to you. Stay away from this emergency room.

My son had one large stye in the left lower eyelid and another one started to form on the right. They were extremely painful, as he indicated, particularly when closing his eyes. He had just started a job and he was exposed to a lot of dust which probably made the condition worse. He sent me a picture of his eyes and the lower eyelids were swollen and painful which prevented him to work. I told him to go to the ER to be seen on 6/18/2021. He works in Palm Beach, so he decided to go to St. Mary's Medical Center on 45th Street - definitely the wrong move with no insurance. Triage did not take

I was there as a patient today. It took two nurses to poke me with needles six times or perhaps even more, they failed at all attempt, and I am severely afraid of bloodwork and needles. I had to walk out and leave. Right before I was to leave another nurse came in and they were kind of yelling saying well if you don't get this in and try it again we cannot give you an ultrasound, one nurse stormed out and said "I give up!" I have never in my life had an experience like this, I recommend this hospital to no one.

In the past year and a half my husband has had three knee surgeries, he's had all of the surgeries done here at this medical center. I've got to say because I've been to a few hospitals due to my parents age, this hospital really is something else. From the moment you check into registration, to the nurses that keep you updated, to the nurses themselves that treat you prior to surgery and the nurses that treat you after... just spectacular!
I guarantee you most of the time you're in the hospital it's because of some sort of illness or an issue that you're already

In 42 years of medical practice, I have never witnessed such gross negligence. My patient arrived to the ER with open wounds full of mud and no one cleaned her off. For 7 hours. As I repeatedly asked them to. She was denied her desperately needed medications, both in the ER AND upstairs. Once upstairs, staff ignored her calls for bathroom assistance and then ignored her calls for dry bedding, leaving her in her own urine for over an hour. Several times. Be forewarned: staff has to organize to administrative procedures at the cost of patient attention and care. In 3 days, we only encountered two

I am, quite simply, incredulous when I evaluate my experience with this hospital. Before I detail the disgusting treatment my mother is receiving, I must first extend kudos and my sincere and continued thanks to the nursing staff. They were courteous, caring and professional at all times and additionally, forgave me my visible and vocal frustrations with the doctors from the trauma team. And therein lies the rub.

My mother has an injury that cannot be repaired. The doctors from the trauma team scheduled an appointment with me and cavalierly kept me waiting and ultimately were no shows. Inexplicably

I was admitted to the Antepartum Unit at St. Mary's Medical Center at 21 weeks pregnant for a high risk pregnancy. The nurses there cared for me like I was one of their family members. They were compassionate and kind, they did everything in their power to ensure I stayed pregnant as long as possible. Not only were they sharp and proactive with my care, they understood how difficult it was being away from family during a pandemic. They sat and listened to me, they spent time getting to know me, and ensuring me that everything would be okay. The Maternal Fetal Specialists were proactive and

I slipped and fell on my patio and broke my ankle in three places. Once I was able to call 911 the brought me to St Mary's ER. Dr. Dixon and Nurse Olympia were great. They tended to me quickly and made sure I was comfortable. Even though they were busy, they still took the time to ensure my treatment and comfort.

This is one of the worst hospitals. If you are having a baby try to avoid this place. And is even worse it your baby Is premature.
My granddaughter unfortunately came to this world in this hospital.
The staff was totally clueless, couldn't answer any questions. Communication between nurses, doctors an patients is not existing. This is a shame. We pay so much money for medical care and we don't get any. This hospital needs to be shut down. Incompetent leadership and staff should be hold responsible for the neglect. They can learn a lot even from a third world country, where health care

Terrible experience in the ER. The only up side was that I was brought back quickly. Once brought back everything went downhill fast. I came with chest pain. Upon my EKG being negative for signs of a heart attack (which I figured since I'm 21) the doctor completely ignored me. I tried to explain that I had a surgery in the past to alleviate reflux but he insisted that I must still be having reflux. After throwing up, the doctor continued to throw oral medications at me. He gave me 5 different medications in the span of 2 hours. This included a medication to lower BP when mine was already low

This is an update to a previous review that I gave St Mary's 1 Star. Since then they reduced my bill from $2600 to $550 for 4 sutures I received in May of 2018. The care in the emergency room was definitely top notch, but $2600 from the hospital and then an additional bill from the physician (that didn't treat me) for $1480 left a bad taste in my mouth. Luckily the hospital did the right thing. Now hopefully the attending physician does too. Thank you to the amazing RN and PA that took care of me. Both great.

I'm updating my review of the Palm Beach Children's Hospital portion of St. Mary's Hospital, adding two more stars. Luckily, my most recent visit was night and day from my last visit.

I tried my best not to return here, but it ends up that St. Mary's is exactly the most comprehensive and knowledgeable place in Palm Beach County to take children with a serious problem. I double checked this with Doctor and Nurse friends; thus, I appreciate the medical services available here first and foremost.

This time, my son and I were given a room on the second floor (instead of the first

We picked this hospital because of its closeness to where we were at the time my wife, Marva, felt symptoms of a possible heart problem. We arrived and were immediately cared for. Everyone at this place was professional and genuinely concerned. My wife was ok but they did all the tests possible to be sure. A day later we left with the greatest respect for St Mary's. If you need or want perfect hospital service--wow this is your home.
Thanks : Ashley(emergency), - nurses: Juram, Janice,- assistant nurses: Dorothy, Doris, - Celia(MRI), -Millie (echo CG), - and Dr. Cohen.

If I knew what the conditions and service of this hospital was like I would have refused to sign the transfer papers for my wife. The Room was dirty and poorly maintained (see photos for the picture of a roach we saw in the room). The staff with a few notable exceptions was uncaring and seemed bothered by the patients, took forever to help patients go to the restroom if they showed up at all. She was rushed from another hospital for monitoring after complications from child birth but once she arrived it took 16 hours for them to put her on the monitor. Once I was able to bring the baby no one could
